Kurtz96 -> Void Charge skill strength (6/27/2020 17:35:36)

On the info sub LegendaryAsh made a comment that this weapon was missing a part of the formula that terror eater has. Has the skill been adjusted accordingly or does this weapon use a different formula from terror eater?

Assuming I use werepyre's terror skill to inflict a 64.3% panic what would be the multiplier of the skill (using the same set up as the Skill Power Ranking table from here).

I am not sure if it is worth being a wereprye to use this weapon since I am a mage (no STR) so don't get any benefits from hybrid stats.

The difference from Terror Eater is that it has a standard skill damage/cost added in and it doesn't factor out the enemies resistance that was used in Panic's potency, when the weapon's own element is assumed to hit the enemies' highest resistance, so it has a (Resistance)^2 power.

So does the strength of the panic (20% vs 50% vs 64% etc) affect the damage at all?

The potency of the Panic and the base save involved is accounted for in the damage dealt.

Thanks for the info.

As taken from Lv 10: Nekoverlord, DC = Save Difficulty -1, which is part of the formula that involves Expected Duration and Power.

So looking at the info subs formula (and assuming your post about the 0.7 vs 1.4 typo is right): +1.4*[1-reduction multiplier]*(1 / (100-[Save DC]))

and werepyre terror skill:

LEVEL 4 - TERROR
Active skill, Inflict Panicked on your foe (-5/28 damage). It automatically inflicts it, but the monster can shrug it off with a save at a +0 bonus (inflict with max(INT,STR)/LUK, resist with CHA/LUK). This doesn't take a turn, and you can only use it once per turn.

For the panic inflicted, void charge has these numbers:
reduction multiplier is -5/28
The monster makes a save with +0 so Save DC is 0-1

Legendary Ash -> RE: Void Charge skill strength (6/27/2020 18:38:43)

As taken from Status System: Saving Throws, DC is normally 50 +1, the +0 bonus to enemy save is a modifier that adjusts the 50 to a selected value.

Thanks for your clarifications.
