Paladin Class part III:
The new Paladin Order is showing great promise! Now it's time to reconnect with Paladins of the past, in hopes that they will see this potential as well. However, some leads are strangely quiet. ...Could your enemies have gotten to them first? We are now in uncharted Class territory with no Class ever receiving more than 10 skills! Not only will Paladin have 20 skills as the first Tier 3 Class, but several abilities also have options to unlock.

August 6000 Z-Token Package - Spirit of Knowledge Misc:
This ethereal charm gives you resistance to Water attacks and expands your knowledge (+INT)! It also normally gives +10% gold from battles when in your active inventory (top 8 misc item slots), and a +25% boost during August!

Woooo! Very happy that this class update is progressing fairly quickly. Also more than ok with not getting more than a Spirit Misc as a token package if it means Paladin can progress faster.

Any speculations on what this could mean? Are we getting branching abilities, or is this just a reference to skills like Defiance where we unlock more powers as we level up?

Well, we might be getting a second option for the call ally thing, so we could choose someone other than Daimyo.

Necromancer is next, followed by Archmage and Dracomancer. Necromancer will likely be in 2021.

I wont believe in Archmage until its in the game, it has been a "moby dick" scenario for too many years

To be fair, 2022 will be the 20th Anniversary of the game. Considering how long each class takes, I would not be surprised if the two coincided. That would be the ultimate present considering it's one of the most anticipated releases of the decade.

As of Necromancer, that will have to be next year if we are to have time to do it justice. We've already announced the plans for all of 2020. Meanwhile, I hope you're hyped for this week! We've got great new skills and another milestone quest coming.

The Spirit of Knowledge Misc is live! This Paladin update is an extra large release and we need more time to work on it, so Paladin will be a Saturday release.

Since the current Z-Token sale is ending so close to the Back-To-School sale, instead of ending the sale for a couple weeks and restarting it, I'm just going to make one final extension to the sale until September 14th!

Yes, the new/updated equipment is still on the way. The Paladin release is looking like it will be ready later this evening.

I loved the new quest, as ominous as it was. It is always great to see how people feel about Artix post-Edge-of-Extinction.

We have a new guest, which can toggle between being a light booster and a normal damaging guest, and a new Defiance mechanic, which deals damage and a powerful burn when reviving. Manifestation, the new guest, causes the game to lag quite heavily for me.

The new skills:
Overwhelming Aura provides status potence.
Mantra of Alignment allows us to switch armor leans once per battle. FO is currently locked.
Summon Steed gives new attack skills based on Cha. The currently available one seems to have no additional effects, but later ones seem to be able to Daze and something else (the wording is somewhat ambiguous).
Righteous Surge also provides attack skills but these have effects based on our health remaining. The current one heals HP while later ones heal MP and do more damage depending on HP. Righteous Surge is usable once every three rounds.
Inner Light provides SPells with options between normal, efficient, and overcharged variants.

The second form of Resonant Bulwark won't load, and whenever I do anything that would try to make it do so it softlocks the game.

There is a new guest we can summon: Manifestation. Can toggle between damage and boosting light attacks. Weapon +44 and Spell +22 which makes it better than Poelala for light spells.

Just to add some info about Manifestation

1) It it scales with CHA exclusively.

2) It triggers on Undead/Demons to boost more damage and has a downtrigger - This means vs. undead/demons you get 110% boost and vs. everything else you get 95% boost, i have no idea where this is added in the formula

3) The current boost numbers aren't showing what they *should* even with a downtrigger. I assume this is has to do with the Class Armor not being lv 150

It's probably the Poelala and friends outleveling formula at work. Manifestation should be like Lepre-Chan in that it's better than Poelala even with 0 Cha and 250 Int.

I have not, admittedly, considered the greater implications of the Paladin Order's return and their potential effect on the political climate between kingdoms.

Kudos to Cray for such cohesive and detailed worldbuilding.

Summon Steed from the third circle of the Paladin skills, doesn't activate if you equip a 100-proc weapon. Also, is it intended that Resplendent Surge doesn't stack with Absolute Darkness?
