What gimmicks do the bosses in the Question have? (Past, Present, maybe Future?)

I cannot seem to get past them (pun intended)

IIRC they can't receive more than 20% damage each turn. They might also be immune every other turn but I'm not too sure on that. SO it'll take 5 turns or 10 turns if they are immune every other turn.

Is that 20% damage a total per then? Like 20% Max with pet, guests?

I believe so. 20% total. It stops at a certain HP amount and won't go any further. So if you do enough damage your pets will do nothing.

I kept doing 0 damage on multiple turns :(

Are you using stuns? If you are you could be preventing it from spending that "every other turn" where it teaches you something.

EDIT: I just tried again and used love potion to stun it. after I did 20% damage, every turn it was stunned stopped its health from going lower. IT needs the turn to say it's quote so by stunning it you're making the mob wait it out so it can get to the next phase.

That is indeed the case. No stuns then. Cray really knows how to make interesting mobs.
