I've had those in the past. Happened to me when the Taladosian set first came out and I lost due to the energy burn the boss gave. That was a nightmare.

Tacos -> RE: =AQ= The Sisters' Revenge + Mysterious Necromoglin Pet (11/17/2020 14:47:51)

Tried again, and got the same result but kind of worse this time since a lot of times of Surge hitting refused to blind the guy. Okay, what would help me? Level 8 Paladin so no Defiance and I'm a Beast Warrior so no healing spells to outheal the DoT.
Possibly stupid question: I'm also using Shattered Mirrorblade since I saw the boss has 0 luck. Would Paladin doing bonus damage to Undead + Mirrorblade doing bonus damage to enemies with 0 luck stack? Or am I'm better off getting Caliburn/some weapon that does bonus damage to undead?

Heroes of the Scape -> RE: =AQ= The Sisters' Revenge + Mysterious Necromoglin Pet (11/17/2020 15:09:11)

Make sure that you are using the Paladin Armaments for the shield. That will turn your Light defense into the defense for all his attacks. Don't use a darkness shield. If you can, try to stack Burn effects on him. That's how my Beast Warrior is able to beat him. Just sitting in Paladin and stacking Burn. Although any consistent status damage will help a lot. Also, don't use Healing spells. Potions are more effective for most situations.

EDIT: Just noticed that the ability to use Light resistance for Undead is the Class level 9 ability. Try to get that and it will help a ton.

RobynJoanne -> RE: =AQ= The Sisters' Revenge + Mysterious Necromoglin Pet (11/17/2020 15:27:33)

Yeah. Paladin becomes much stronger once you hit class level 10 since you get resistance to undead and resurrection. Until then, it's a powerful but dangerous armor to use against most undead.

You could also wait until the boss loses half its health to stun lock it since it loses Freedom.

Finally, a healing pet and guest could help you just heal loop the fight. It's by no means quick, but your survivability will go way up.

EternalDragonX -> RE: =AQ= The Sisters' Revenge + Mysterious Necromoglin Pet (11/17/2020 16:26:59)

Anyone know if the darkness booster will go rare like the energy one or stay like the other boosters?

Heroes of the Scape -> RE: =AQ= The Sisters' Revenge + Mysterious Necromoglin Pet (11/17/2020 16:36:01)

They would have specified of it was going rare. The only reason the Energy one went rare was because it was a Toy Story 4 reference.

Hymnsicality -> RE: =AQ= The Sisters' Revenge + Mysterious Necromoglin Pet (11/17/2020 22:10:07)

There's probably a slight chance it may go rare, since it was introduced around the same time as halloween with a halloween theme. It's unlikely though since boosters are likely to be very effective revenue raisers. But even in the miniscule chance it goes rare, it's unlikely to stay rare as so few items do these days. Furthermore, there would be definitely be an announcement by Hollow before it goes rare.

I had 205 war wins. I would think I'd get at least the helmet.
Char ID is 86963693

Heroes of the Scape -> RE: =AQ= The Sisters' Revenge + Mysterious Necromoglin Pet (11/18/2020 8:14:45)

@above: The face was for those that hit 2500 kills.

edwardvulture -> RE: =AQ= The Sisters' Revenge + Mysterious Necromoglin Pet (11/18/2020 16:11:15)

I always thought the war kills were like top 250, top 500, top 2500. That is not the case?

Heroes of the Scape -> RE: =AQ= The Sisters' Revenge + Mysterious Necromoglin Pet (11/18/2020 16:14:00)

Sometimes it is based on your finish position, but this one was purely based on kills. 500, 1000, and 2500.

joac1144 -> RE: =AQ= The Sisters' Revenge + Mysterious Necromoglin Pet (11/18/2020 16:21:57)

The new war reward system is only based on amount of individual kills.
The old system with top 25, top 50 and top 100 is no longer used.

Tacos -> RE: =AQ= The Sisters' Revenge + Mysterious Necromoglin Pet (11/18/2020 20:55:13)

Did it! Leveling Paladin to 10 helped. Thank you!

EDIT to add: Didn't know about the Paladin shield thing. I thought it was just a free light shield. So if I'm reading it right, the passive turns all elemental damage from Undead and Demons to Light so the Paladin can tank it? Thought I had to something specific since the element still shows as Dark.

EDIT 2: Aw, the face costs tokens. I'm sad. It's a pretty good face.

Heroes of the Scape -> RE: =AQ= The Sisters' Revenge + Mysterious Necromoglin Pet (11/19/2020 9:05:06)

It doesn't change the attack element to light. It is still the original type. It just applies its best resistance to Undead attacks instead of Darkness. This makes the class armor actually useful against Undead since most of them are Dark. You can technically use any shield and if the resistance is lower than your Light it will be used instead. Do note that only the resistance from the Level 1 skill shield can be used for this ability.

joac1144 -> RE: =AQ= The Sisters' Revenge + Mysterious Necromoglin Pet (11/19/2020 12:21:09)

For the best protection with Paladin against Undead, you should use a shield that protects against the attack element, not against Light. The only exception for this is the Paladin Armaments shield (Resonant Bulwark). It has the same effect as the armor, so it can be used against any Undead/Demon.

Ryu Draco -> RE: =AQ= The Sisters' Revenge + Mysterious Necromoglin Pet (11/19/2020 15:13:26)

The only exception is against enemies that have skills that check against other elements. There were several reports from players going through the Paladin Class quests getting stunned for half a dozen turns because the Knights would roll against their Earth or Darkness resistance.

Lineolata -> RE: =AQ= The Sisters' Revenge + Mysterious Necromoglin Pet (11/20/2020 0:41:38)

The same also applies for things like elemental DoTs or other effects- I've heard a report of a vampire lord healing massive amounts, too. Paladin's ability is great, but not invincible.

edwardvulture -> RE: =AQ= The Sisters' Revenge + Mysterious Necromoglin Pet (11/24/2020 9:59:02)

Thanks for the clarification!
