Are there more updates coming for the Paladin class? I am wondering why the only armor level one can purchase from the paladin class shop is level 70 and I wonder why there isn't an option for level 150 players.

The high level Paladin gear can be accessed from the Advanced Shop, accessible after reaching level 20 and completing the advanced gear quest.
