i kinda like what they've been doing with the Vampire and savage werewolf armors, every year its a different element. i kinda wish we could see more alternatives show up. I'd specifically love to see one for Pixel ether, as thats an invalueable item for mages yet sadly is no longer available. :(

no, those are different. frostval event items are rare forever.
