Heroes of the Scape -> Better Wind Armor (11/18/2020 10:11:00)

Should I change the Wind armor on my Beast Warrior from the Weird Al, (Fat & Tacky armor), set to the Haunted Dragonlord set?
I'm trying to move a way from status effects that only prevent the monster from attacking to creating a DoT build. I know that Control does damage the monster but am I losing too much by staying with Weird Al?

There aren't really any good DoT options for wind, sadly, so I think this is mainly a matter of personal preference.

The Santa costume is a good armor with a lot of utility, but the main drawback for it is that it's considerably less useful against Bosses, who are far more likely to have the Freedom status. If that's a deal-breaker for you than Haunted Dragonlord might be better because then it can't be countered by a boss that's immune to control.

If not though, then Tacky Santa will likely fit the DoT mold better simply because there's no other Wind armor that can inflict a damaging status.

The Freedom status on Bosses is the reason I'm switching to a DoT build. I'm not as worried about the Armor giving the DoT more so on the attack power the armor has. I'm looking to Weapons, Guests, and Pets to do the actual DoT infliction. There are far too few armors in general with passive DoT effects to make a viable build.
