Is there a promo this year because I was thinking of buying some dcs. Also is the black friday or half-off shop returning this year?

The staff haven't confirmed anything, but it seems likely that they'll be a half-off shop for the Storybook collection as there have been in previous years.

I hope there would be a sale on dcs at least. I finally reached level 90 and I want to make new da characters

Chances are by now you've already seen this, but it has since been announced in the latest Design Notes that the 50% bonus DC promotion has begun, concluding January 6th, 2021. You can find more information here: https://www.dragonfable.com/gamedesignnotes/myalos-8139

There have not been special Black Friday or half-off shops in recent years, however last year we had our first Cyber Monday shop, so who knows what might be in store.
