The Hollow -> =AQ= Estate items (12/2/2020 18:10:31)

Coming in January we will be doing an update to the Stat Trainer Estate items that will let owners train/untrain more than 5 points at a time. I'm planning to create some new Estate items for that week as well.

So I'd love to get ideas and suggestions for what new Estate items players would like to see!

joac1144 -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/2/2020 18:19:47)

Maybe the Museum could get new functionality. Right now there's no reason to upgrade it.

Armsman -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/2/2020 18:21:33)

Would it be possible to add the item upgrader from our character manager to the Museum? Aside from that, I'd just like some better Stone and Wood collectors.

Lord Markov -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/2/2020 18:34:03)

Personally, I wouldn't mind some more resource collectors with themes for the other subraces besides Neko.

Something to tide me over until those other subraces get estate house designs of their own, of course [;)]

Seeing something more for the museum to do would be nice as well.

Silver Horn -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/2/2020 18:37:08)

How about your own personal potion shop? But the potions will have different effects compared to the potions in Lucretia's shop.

Inferno369 -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/2/2020 19:28:01)

Yay! So exciting! Know a lot have been excited at the prospect as well.

What about a personal arena / colosseum sort of thing? Could be like the void but like, with normal monsters that get buffs and give you additional stat boosts or increases to giving status effects after you beat them? Maybe like giant sneaks that allow you to poison your enemies easier? Not permanently and only one at a time ofc but only after you defeat them and they'd be super challenging.

Uskius -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/2/2020 21:37:39)

+1 for another Stone or Wood-producing item. I've had a number of ideas for other estate items, but the one I want to bring up again is an estate item that produces an in-battle effect like Offbalance or a Burn for battles on the player's estate. Battles with persistent background effects have been some of the more interesting ones recently and it would be nice to have them in other places for a little more variety.

battlesiege15 -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/3/2020 0:22:49)

A Ye Olde Eatery II :D

quote:

Building that stores gold
So a bank? Idk about that, Uncle Sham might be invading that building all day every day if that's the case.

LUPUL LUNATIC -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/3/2020 6:16:28)

Some more Advanced Buildings like Corn Field but for Wood and Stone that can be used in any Estate.
Building that lets you store Gold like a Bank and can be Vaulted to other characters, maybe 0.5% interest per level too.
A Potion Shop Building that gives you up to 35 Potions (unlike the House that gives up to 25) and has Lucretia style potions. Prices reduced based on level.
A Worker Shop Building that unlike Ye Olde Eatery it does not boost the production but reduces Upgrade Timers for your Buildings. I always got annoyed by how much time it takes to upgrade Storage Buildings, just too much time.

A Training Camp/Dome that increases the effectiveness of your army from Mega World Portal would be interesting to see.

Yozai -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/3/2020 13:13:58)

+1 for gold storage, advanced combat trainer and hex coloring of guardian gear.

A building that let you test gear in shops before you buy it, could be a part of the combat trainer.

A building with a scavenger hunt quest for temp gear like Caliburn and Guests, you later can just go to the building to collect it.

A challenge pit, that sends a random gauntlet of challenge monsters against you.

Dardiel -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/3/2020 13:25:15)

An advanced combat trainer for testing builds could be nice, if there's options like setting enemy resists/stats/damage to practice against any theoretical enemy.

LUPUL LUNATIC -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/3/2020 13:37:40)

+1 for the Advanced Combat Trainer building where you set its damage range (making it even full base if you want), its attacking element and its resistances and also Monster Base Element and its Stats+MRM.
It would be ideal for testing your equipment.

ruleandrew -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/3/2020 17:41:52)

Estate suggestion
A new estate building that cost 20000 z-token. This building can earn interest over time.

Museum can earn small amount of gold over time (depend on character level and museum level). Also Museum can display artworks (depend on museum level).

Veral77 -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/3/2020 18:02:53)

@battlesiege15: And beating up leprechaun invaders is a way to make even more gold.

Seth Hydra -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/3/2020 19:07:43)

Extra Vault ? Aka another building that lets you access your shared vault and store gold perhaps to a certain cap?

Something that lets you farm gold over time would be decent would be great too.

Caecus -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/3/2020 19:29:08)

Yay! I've been kicking around ideas for this in my head for a few months haha. I'd love any feedback from staff or other players!

The idea is to add QOL and also make estates feel more like home (i.e. somewhere you might actually go each time you log in) and incentivize building them as more than war/ggb farms. With more useful items there would actually be competition for slots on your estate.

First and foremost (after the stat trainers) Sham's ATM: an in game representation of your bank/vault that lets you deposit and store gold. For flavor maybe have it make the estate more likely to be attacked?

After that:

Clan Garrison: You can send your army/guards to fight for your clan at the paxia defense forces. This way they collect gold and do something when wars aren't on. Also allows you to buy a boost against your opposite element (like lucretia's potions).

Lucretia's mail order shop: refill 35 potions plus buy lucretia's at a discount.

An orcish armourer: Saves a couple of loadouts (similarly to your login slots in the guardian tower) for easy switching. Also let's you sharpen your weapon of awe (like the vorpal blade).

Frostval elf workshop: Open GGBs en mass rather than 1 at a time and have an in game count of what you have saved.

Finally, have bedroom healing max SP as well. Or, failing that, a hot spring building with the same function.

Kay Oh -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/3/2020 19:51:31)

A vault storage estate :)

s_venom -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/3/2020 21:01:35)

+1 a vault storage.
Or increase in the number of slots the house allows you to buy?
Inventory space is quite the issue.

And thank you for updating the stat training.
It was a nightmare to try and change builds... I know this is far fetched, but I do hope the new system would allow stat allocation like in Dragon Fable (that would be godsend).

battlesiege15 -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/3/2020 21:32:57)

What about like a Greenhouse? You build it up and starting from like Level 5/20, you unlock a new species of plant and can unlock new plants per every 5 levels or so. Once you unlock them, you can choose to grow them specifically which would require you to water the plants every day or so to help them grow. After they have grown (like 3-5 days of interaction), you can 'pluck' them and they become temporary misc items that give a special effect for the login. The plants won't be able to grow when the building is invaded though.

Examples could be:

Rusted Rose: Earth misc that boosts Earth attacks and can make the monster Bleed
Pyro Perennial: Fire misc that boosts Fire attacks and can make the monster Burn
Lively LIlac: Healing misc that boosts Healing attacks and gives a passive heal per turn

It sounds a bit hard to code and such but could be a fun way to interact with out estates besides simple clearing buildings/trading items/training/warring. Could also add some strategic gameplay especially since it's a temporary misc, you can only use one at a time and you have to work to get it (every few days)

Zork Knight -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/4/2020 2:57:27)

+1 for Potion QoL building. Getting more potions and discounted prices for Lucretia's would be sweet. Sham's gold investment bank also doesn't sound half-bad.

As for the museum, I think it could give more inventory slots as you upgrade it?

I also like the idea of subrace-exclusive buildings but I can't think of anything for tgem todo betond resource collecting, and that's kinda boring

Nameless King -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/4/2020 3:07:56)

Instead of adding more resource generator,why not increase their max level so that it would generate even more of the 4 resources?It will not only save space but it will also definitely make me a lil happy and perhaps others too~Other then that,a vault does indeed sounds nice and all but what if it were to be raided?I suggest to add a karma system to it if the vault were to be implemented~Raid it once and you will recieve -50 towards your luck,second time is -100,3rd time is -150 and the 4th time is -200~The 5th time,you will recieve an astounding -300 luck and -25 to all of your stats for the whole day even if you were to logout (or not)~You can only raid the vault 1 time each day and the cap for raiding the vault of the same player is 5~Again,this is just a suggestion of mine so take it with just a grain of salt~

Macho Man -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/4/2020 16:41:49)

I am so glad that we are getting an update to training. I hate the current system and it is such a chore, bought both trainers last night before the sale ended.

And man these suggestions are great. I like the QOL ones a lot but am also liking new mechanics like the greenhouse plot.

KuronekoAlchemist -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/4/2020 21:00:30)

The scroll on our wall needs to show our daily gold cap.

MetalKnight -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/5/2020 5:13:07)

- Combat Trainer Practice Would have a new update, and maybe CPT would have a challenge mode or a mini-quest - "Cpt's Revenge" where cpt had enough with people's nuking methods.
- Maybe Museum can have functionally inside - past hoilday events where you can visits, like just DF storybook. ONLY guardians can access to the past holiday, and it require: you need play past first of events first to unlock access every events as you complete. and you can get the delivery rewards only, but no guardian giftboxen

also, a personal customization guardian building sound great!

Lineolata -> RE: =AQ= Estate items (12/5/2020 15:45:35)

Personally I'd be amused by a bank that costs 1 billion or something and does nothing but play an animation of your character swimming in coins. Like an estate version of that title.

^ Pardon, but aren't you asking for what Hollow already confirmed was planned?
