I've tried using Ascendant, DoomKnight (V2), and Chaosweaver, but I'm having a lot of trouble getting through Into The Light.

(Frankly there should be a heal before the final encounter.)

Is there a better class I could be using?

Well, Technomancer has a powerful attack that heals mp, a HoT and stuns with reasonably fast cooldowns. The class also starts dealing more damage the less hp you have.

It also helps to have a pet Dragon with 200 Protection and at least 1 Mischief.


P.S. If that doesn't help, consider grabbing a guest or two.

Wow, I'd never actually tried this class before but it is very nice. :O

The Popsprocket quests for the gears weren't that long either.

Did you manage to do it with Techno? If not, I'm surprised v2 with END and water/darkness weapons can't do it - can you describe what's going wrong?

I managed it with Techno, yes.

More through use of guests than anything else though, most of my points are in INT since I was recommended to do that for damage since I used magic weapons so while I could do damage they were punching hunks of my HP away with no effort.
