So recently we got the armor Zardshi Rider which its a neat armor but unfortunately it suffers from the mechanic it has on the skills. The skills are all spell-type that follow weapon element. This is an issue because spell-type skills have Armor Lean incorporated into the Elecomp (which does not exist here). The issue is that normal weapon-based skills that follow weapon element have the Armor Lean separate from the Elecomp (which should not exist in this case) so that a normal weapon-based skill in FO armor that follows weapon element is strictly better than a spell-type skill that follows weapon element because the Armor Lean still gets applied even if there is no Elecomp. What happens in this scenario is that the Overcharged spell-type skill that follows weapon element is also WEAKER than a normal skill that follows weapon element which has its FO lean applied to it, that on top of paying more SP for it. So you literally wont be using this skill at all from the armor in the get-go. But also means that all other skills deal less damage because of lean not being applied to them since they were made spell-type. This is a concerning issue with this type of design because of how spell-type skills apply Armor Lean into the Elecomp calculation whereas the regular weapon-based skills have them separated. Also if the skill follows weapon element and i imbue the weapon with x element the skill still does the original weapon element damage which also isn't exactly thematic here. The consensus is that if the skill partially uses your weapon then should at least partially use your imbue too. More thematic wise however i do not even know why the skills follow your weapon -element at all since your weapon is not even used in its attack animation, but that's a different problem.
