Khoifish25 -> Ascended ChickenCow: Possible ways to rework/upgrade the class (2/5/2021 8:05:59)

After taking a look at the discussion going about the lack of strength in the Ascended ChickenCow Lord compared to other Storyline classes, including its previous forms, I figured why not start a discussion about ways that the Ascended ChickenCow Lord would be reworked/upgraded to better fit the current state of the game, be it a rework similar to the Pyromancer and Guardian, an artefact like Dragonlords, or even a completely new armour called the Evolved Ascended ChickenCow Lord. Here are a few ways I would rework the class. Keep in mind I have very little knowledge about game balance so for all I know these changes could be DoomKnight V1 OP, or barely better than the original version. First, a few changes to some of the skills: Ascendant Strike Effect: Strike one target 6 times, each hit doing 85% damage, for 510% total damage Mana Cost: 55 CD: 6 Element: Bacon Attack Type: As weapon Wrath of the ChickenCow Hits one target 15 times, each hit doing 20% damage for a total of 300% damage Mana Cost: 20 CD: 4 Element: Weapon’s element Attack Type: As weapon Dance of Protection Effect: Increase your Magic/Pierce/Melee defences and Avoidance by 200 for 5 turns Mana Cost: 20 CD: 9 Element: N/A Attack Type: N/A Chicken Blasters Effect: Blast one target with fire, doing 5 hits of 60% damage for 300% damage, and inflicts ‘Spicy Wings; status effect for 30% Fire damage for 5 turns Mana Cost: 30 CD: 7 Element: Weapon’s element Attack Type: As weapon LactoSea Effect: Calls forth a wave of milk on one target for 3 hits of 40% damage for 120% total damage, and heals 10% of your maximum HP and MP with each successful hit. Mana Cost: 40 CD: 10 Element: Weapon’s element Attack Type: As weapon Summon Arester Effect: Blow the horn and Arester appears in front of the target. He strikes with his spear for one hit of 50% damage followed by a beam of light for five more times of 50% damage each for 300% total damage with guaranteed critical damage each hit Mana Cost: 50 CD: 10 Element: Weapon’s element Attack Type: As weapon Summon Zeuster (NEW) Effect: Blow the horn and Zeuster appears in front of the target. He starts shining and a beam of light shoots from below him dealing 20 hits of 25% damage with guaranteed critical damage each hit Mana Cost: 60 CD: 15 Element: Bacon Attack Type: As weapon All other Skills remain the same The moveset is largely the same, with the only difference being that Feather Bomb is replaced with Summon Arester, which in turn is replaced with Summon Zeuster Now for the new mechanic I would like to make for this rework of the ACCL: At 75-50% HP, you now deal an extra 50% total damage compared to your base damage (including boosts). This boost lasts for as long as your HP is at this level. At 50-25% HP, you now deal an extra 100% total damage compared to your base damage (including boosts). This boost lasts for as long as your HP is at this level. - Ascendant Strike, Wrath of the ChickenCow, Eggteor Barrage, Summon Arester and Chicken Blasters CD reset to 0 (This occurs only once per battle, even if you drop to 50% HP multiple times per battle). - Wrath of the ChickenCow CD drops to 1, Eggteor Barrage CD drops to 0, Summon Arester CD drops to 7 and Chicken Blasters CD drops to 5 (These changes last for the rest of the battle, regardless of whether your HP increases) At 25% and lower HP, you now deal an extra 150% total damage compared to your base damage (including boosts). This boost lasts for as long as your HP is at this level. - Wrath of the ChickenCow CD drops to 0 and Summon Arester CD drops to 5 (These changes last for the rest of the battle, regardless of whether your HP increases). Their current state in their CD drops accordingly to their new CDs. And there is my idea on what I wouldn’t mind seeing for an improved ACCL. What do you guys think? Would this boost the armour to at least competent levels or is it still not enough? If you have any thoughts about my rework concept, or other ideas on how to improve the ACCL, please comment down below your thoughts.
