The mission exclusive monster are a breeze with 250 LUK + stunlock build. However, very difficult for non tank/250 LUK stunlock builds, getting stunlocked to death during enemy first turn is pretty upsetting considering the enemies are attacking with 4 different elements.

Fighting strategy is almost similar to Carandor in which you pray to go first to finish them off with stunlock but tanking is not viable without high END since they will wreck you with dazing omni-elemental attacks.

@BlitzAegis
What monster are you talking about? I beat the quest with my Adventurer Beastmaster (no stunlock, initiative, or nuking shenanigans), and I only got stunned once. The different elemental attacks were a pain, but the monsters do such relatively little damage that I was able to finish the quest without dying and only chugged 2 health potions. I only got to low health because I misread the attacks, so it's definitely doable without a 250 Luk + stunlock build.

@RobynJoanne
The x2 mobs when selecting the moderate/challenge difficulty.

Since you said you only got stunned once, I'm sure you either got lucky from not getting endlessly stunned/high end build/item with stun resistance/pet or guest stunning the mobs enough for you to break out of the stun loop.

Elemental resistance doesn't help out much when you have 0 LUK and the mobs go first and stunlocks you to death. Kinda reminds me of the StarSlayer void boss that kills you if you don't start first but rather than being OHKO, you are subjected to seeing you character tortured to death by countless knife stabbing due to stun.

OG Ranger -> RE: =AQ= Snugglefest - Last Resort (2/25/2021 0:30:33)

Monsters in this quest stun? I thought all the monsters had no effects aside from resistance.

RobynJoanne -> RE: =AQ= Snugglefest - Last Resort (2/25/2021 2:12:56)

@BlitzAegis
I did get dazed a few times, but the chances of getting stunned were so low that it only stunned me once. I think you probably got spectacularly unlucky if it stunlocked you. The monsters also did relatively little damage, and that was in Neko armor with 105% resistances to their SP attack.
I will admit to only doing the quest on Patience and Way Out on my Adventurer Beastmaster. The Challenge fight involves fighting some high health monsters without healing, and since that directly counters the relatively low power of my alt, I did that only on my main character. Still, none of the routes ever actually killed me, and I did the quest multiple times.

*Edit*
Okay, I did the Challenge Who's the Boss on my Adventurer Beastmaster. It took more heal looping shenanigans than I'd like to admit, but it was definitely doable with F2P items. I got stunned more often than before because of that Angry Beachgoer *4, but it never got bad enough that I was actually stunlocked for more than two turns. I reiterate that I do not think the quest has any difficulty issues. You probably got really unlucky considering I've done it three times with the same character and died 0 times.
@OG Ranger
The Angry Beachgoers Daze on their normal attack. The stun chance of the Daze is pretty weak. It was 19.5% for my lvl 135 Adventurer and 21% for my main.

Nameless King -> RE: =AQ= Snugglefest - Last Resort (2/25/2021 3:30:43)

I pray for you Blitz to have a better luck!May the god bless you in your adventure

Lorekeeper -> RE: =AQ= Snugglefest - Last Resort (2/25/2021 9:59:12)

The Angry Beachgoers only have a chance to attempt to Daze on their standard attack, and only have minor seeking on their SP attacks. Therefore, it's possible to prepare for each ahead of time according to the SP gauge (This becomes trickier with packs, of course). Maximizing Earth defenses will minimize incoming Daze, and swapping to a defensive (Be it damage reduction or partial healing) for your weakest element in anticipation of the SP attack will likewise minimize incoming damage. As usual, sometimes you may need to swap out some items to take on a given quest.

For context, testing for these mobs was done on a STR/DEX/INT build, with no stuns involved, and using Werepyre to deal with the Daze when dealing with the 3 and 4 pack versions.

The missing checkpoint is on me, not the coders. I didn't properly put one into the quest structure. This issue has been reported to the team.

(Note to self: Suggest a Kneecapped status effect to deal with these adventurer enemies.)

OG Ranger -> RE: =AQ= Snugglefest - Last Resort (2/25/2021 10:28:01)

@Cray do you intend to make any more quests with 4 battles before healing? I actually enjoyed fewer heals. (I'd just like to know beforehand) I might be the only one though :P. Maybe you could make a challenge mode for quests like you do bosses but challenge mode quests have fewer heals.
