I am personally looking forward to the trading in-game.

I already am willing to offer to buy Malgor insignias if they are indeed tradable. Not sure what their value is, but I am already willing to offer 200 ACs per Malgor insignia for up to 75. That’s 15,000 total ACs. I have no desire to enter that sh*tshow. All other ultras I have completed and most enjoyed although four taunters and a red zone that covers 85% or 90% of the screen? Even if my computer could handle it, I am not sure my anxiety can with everything else on my plate. I play this game to relax, not get more stressed out.

Also willing to see what resources I have in my inventory and bank people may willing to buy for ACs as well or trade for other items. May as well find a use for it besides just collecting dust, lol.

Obviously NSoD and other items themselves will not be tradeable, you can just get a new one with account manager. Materials are what will be tradeable.

Regarding the Platinum Axe of Destiny

As it stands this item can be converted into either an Enchanted or Dual version. However the Original Axe is not AC tagged meaning that if either option is chosen the other will be permanently locked out with no way to retrieve the original axe. I believe this is an oversight and should probably be amended. I'd love to convert mine into the Dual version but I do not want to lose the single one. Giving an AC tag to the original Platinum Axe of Destiny would remedy this.

It is also holding the "Weird" rarity, which seems odd given its actual rarity but that doesn't really cause an issue like the lack of an AC tag does.

Emotes Suggestions


What if we add more emotes to the game like add more variety to them? , and giving EMOTES a Hot Key so players can use our favorite old or new emotes.

Following Emote Suggestion:

Shock - covers mouth with two hands, taken aback, and then stays still with exclamations showing on top of the head.

Loving Gaze - heart eyes and heart particles come from the player while staring.

Relax Stance 1 - Stands and Crosses arms.

Relax Stance 2 - Stands Straight and hands at the back.

Thumbs Up 1 - extend your hand and make a thumbs-up gesture.

Thumbs Up 2 - Laying down on the ground extend your hand and make a thumbs-up gesture.

Point 1 - point to the side.

Point 2 - point upwards.

Spell casting - hands extend out and a magic circle appears, spins, and glows like casting and readying a spell.

Offer Drink - brings out a Tavern Mug from Yulgar's and extend your hand out with the mug.

Weapon Stance 1 - Stand and put the weapon on the should like carrying a log.

Weapon Stance 2 - Crouch and draw a weapon like a samurai.

Book Reading - Stands straight and pulls out a random book and reads it, every time it's a different book.

Scroll Reading - Stands Straight and pulls out a scroll and reads it, every time the scroll is in a different state some undamaged and some in tatters.

Sips Tea - Pulls out a Tea Cup and takes a sip.

Dance 3 - Running man dance step.

Gift Giving - Pulls out a gift, each time it a different colored gift.

Air Drums - Pulls out drums stick and starts air drumming.

Wave 2 - Uses two hands to wave.

Help - Uses two hands to wave while a red capitalized HELP comes from the player.

Surrender - Pulls out a white flag and waves it.

Amazement - Put two hands together and star particles come from the player.

Head bop - players move up and down.

Furious - The player put two hands on his hips while steam and a red aura come from them.

Crouch - Lower's body in a crouching position.

Duck and Cover - Sits down on the ground and puts two hands on the head.

Lay flat - Lay down on a planking position.

Blow kiss - puts a hand on the mouth and blows a heart into the air.

Sit - crouch and sit down.

Defend - Cast a shield in the direction you're facing.

Throw Spear - brings out a simple spear and throws it.

Boxing - Sides step and do some punches.

Throw Dagger - Throws dagger.

Throw Sword - Brings out a sword and throws it like a dagger.

Shoot Arrow - Brings out a bow and shoots an arrow.


These are just some Emote Suggestions that can be added to the game plus having them hot-keyed to perform a reaction quickly would be amazing.

Librarium Update


Monsters Lore scroll drops from monsters sometimes and it contains info about the specific race of monsters, we can only view it on the Librarium when we have it in our inventory, but what if we can instead leave the scroll in the Libarium and fill up the empty bookshelves.

Like a Quest of turning the information of the scroll into a book that can be put into the shelves and then we can read them anytime just like the library in the archipelago of time location.

an interactive library and a quest line that makes you run around lore getting information about the monsters and turning them into books, recording them like a Loremaster.

and we can also add books for locations and put them in the Librarium like maya provides a quest that you have to gather and study these materials, let's say from SandSea, and then when we turn it in we get another book in the Librarium that contains the history of SandSea and the things we can found there.

I think It's great for world-building and a great reference for people who are interested in the world's lore plus it helps make more stories for reference.


Plus the Librariums need an update, room 42 in the Librarium. has not been opened yet either.

Design Notes Suggestion

Could you warn us when seasonal items are added? moved? when they return? got rare?

We must guess and with the very low drop rates, we lose a lot of time to run after items not implemented or that are dropped elsewhere

Just a list added with the weekly design notes; some people must decide which ones are getting rares and delete them or displace them so they could then inform us

Soul Essence

To get Soul Essence from the Let it Burn§ quest, you need 3 Soul Sand from Another One Bites the Dust! quest, which needs 333 bone dust, 400 Dage's Favor & 80 Dark Token

All items require 70 Soul Essence + 5 Soul Sand, for at total of 215 Soul Sand

So that's 71,5195 bone dust (also used in multiple other quests), 86,000 Dage's Favor & 17,200 Dark Token. Which means that it's full days of grinding for items that have now been out of interest

Since you boost the drop of other various items weekly, i suggest that instead you limit for that quest the number of Soul Sand used to get Soul Essence; let's say 1 for 1 or 2 for 1 at worst

Another very long and almost impossible quest: i've done it 100 times and got only 3 of the 8 items! (plus one in double)

Could you boost the drop rate ? Allow us to get every time a different item?

With 1% drop rate, i should have got everyone of them or almost after 100 attempts; at that rate it's without ending so it should be modified

Bank & AC items

We get more and more items, many of them being no AC and taking place in inventory and bank, while they do not expand (except a few ones for the recent birthday)

Could you allow us to add more place to the bank? and modify some old quest items? Let's say every quest item from 10 years and more being now an AC item? So people could keep what they fought (or still fight sometimes) for if they need them or to buy some items that please them here and them?

That would not really change the flow of the game, only allow us to not always have to delete many old quest items to replace them

Why is the BlazeBeard Map Merge shop items that say seasonal rare, not ac tag? even if they're rare lots of players not gonna do it cause it will take up valuable space and can't bank the items for the future.

Not something that affects gameplay, but the "flame" or "scorching" animation could be changed again. If I remember correctly the iconic nulgath fire was replaced due to lag but the current one is not GREAT (no offense to the artist). Here are some flames in game that imo could substitute it better (with adapted colors):

Dark Flaming Legion Skull helm's fire;
Azure Flaming Fists (not "flaming fists" dagger);
Crimson Spitfire armor's shoulder flame;
Permafrost Flames;

Also, is there a way to make emotes a bit more accessible? I think a smiling emoji near the chat box would be nice. Also, some emotes like /stem or /cry could be perpetual (cry2 exists but imo it should be the default one).

Another suggestion: set AFK emote.

A remaster and renewal of the Ballyhoo map (/join ballyhoo), create a marge shops with rare items every 3 months and a renewal of the "View Ad" by "See new promotions, items to buy, upcoming featured events and weekly rewards ( Ac's, Gold, Boost's 1 Hour). In addition, special events are held throughout the year, such as Easter, Christmas and New Year, exclusive shops that are there.

Make the map /join nexus the main point of access to ultra bosses instead of /join timeinn.

I suggest this because it's an easy map to go once you log into the game and it would be more intuitive to find players to make a team. It also could become a good place of player reunion, as it used to be in the past.

Keep only 1 frogzard there for players testing their scrolls since they are prone to glitch. Just add to the portals the same method of /timeinn to ultrabosses access.

Suggestion: Make Bludrut Brawl team fight interesting again!! Here is my idea of how:

First, to make players interested on playing it: A quest that can be done 2 times a week and you receive an item upon completing it (being in the victorious team), stacks to 2. Two of the same item and you get a free spin in the wheel of doom;

Necklaces are nullified;

Player level is set to 50 if his level is >50(similar to how pokemon does);

Make a list of allowed classes in it, chosen by a balance team (I'm not specialist so my idea is that only REPUTATION classes should be allowed);

In game when the player enter the queue for the arena the list of allowed classes is shown to him on the screen;

When the player join the arena map a script is run to check if he is wearing one of the allowed classes, and if not, he is kicked from the map;

No private rooms;

Make new map with fewer rooms.

Ideas to improve character pages

First, badges should be not hidden when the character page is open. Yes, it shouldn't be hideable: the in-game char page already does that;

Second, the items should be separated into simple categories only: "items" and "classes and armors", with icons by their side

It might sound counterintuitive and sure it sounds more logical to separate items into very specific categories like swords, daggers, etc and etc but a cleaner look makes the flow through a character page WAY more enjoyable.

It's not about what is "better", it's about perceptions.

Party shared drops

Basically the same that already happens when an aggressive monster that attacks all players is killed: everyone gets the drop. Now would be cool if this mechanic could be implemented to parties: When a player in the party get a monster drop, the other members of the party in the same map and same screen also gets it

Why? To incentive cooperation and partnership between players beyond ultras

Edit: more details of why I suggest this vvv

Most of the players I know are 20+ that don't have much free time to spend hours farming resources. This would be a "pseudo-bot" situation, where someone could ask someone else to farm something for them while they are working/studying without in-fact using bots. This could also be used to avoid some body strain by repeated movement, as most of the farming in the game revolves around smashing the same buttons for a long period of time

I don't know the viability of this or how it would affect gameplay, it' just an idea i had. Thanks

Fix the taunt bug and add a way to choose to become of nuetral affiliation with nuetral reputation and a contract of nuetrality costing 100k gold like the other 3. There are very few nuetral players because most of us felt pressured to pick an affiliation in the beginning. It would be interesting to see how many people want to watch the world burn, how many want to burn it down, how many want to save it, and how many people want to rule it, at whatever costs. (Neutral, chaos, good, and evil) figuratively speaking, of course.

I'm not sure if this has been suggested before, but I'd love a cosmetic 'face customisation' option to go along with the other character customisation options in Yulgar's Inn (or wherever else has those options, such as certain houses or pets).

For example, say I wanted my character to have a face like this http://aqwwiki.wikidot.com/beastly-kinsman-morph (please include earring options if this feature is ever added!!), but I wanted to pair it with either a hairstyle from a hair shop or an equippable helm. I'd be able to recreate the desired face as closely as possible with the face customisation menu, and then put it with any hair/helm I like that doesn't already come with a face (such as the morph I linked). I think this feature would be a lot of fun to play around with, and everyone would be able to create their hero exactly as they picture them in their minds, making for a more unique range of characters in-game.

I understand that certain armours come with special faces, so perhaps a way that this feature could work alongside what already exists in-game is if the custom face was on a layer above the armour, but below the hair/helm layer - and just like how there are already options to toggle your cape/helm/pet off, there could be an option to toggle your character's custom face off if a player wanted to use the face that comes with whatever armour they currently have equipped.

This is going to be my love letter to this game and to those who put their hours and sanity into making the game work with their technical limitations back in the day, and still supporting it. I have suggestions based on my and several other people's personal opinions for AQ2D, your last shot, your ace in the hole, your chance of redemption among your player base. I have no idea where else to post this for the developers, especially ARTIX to read this, so I am going to post it here, on AQW Suggestions.

I have been playing AdventureQuest Worlds, and have never quit, since 2011 back when I was but a child. This game and Artix Entertainment has influenced me and my views on gaming, art, style, and various topics, so it is really tempting to write such lengthy letter of suggestions to the team. Apologies if some words or sentences seem out of place, English is not my native language.

Animations: Please, make new animations for new conditions. New animations for swords, greatswords, maces, plushies, guns, crossbows, anything! You have a lot of types in your game, and that is only a good thing IF you are able to back them up. Make these enormous range of items worth something, instead of just cosmetics. Make an animation for dying, make it different depending on who killed you, make an animation for resurrection instead of the player just teleporting back to the beginning of the map, anything goes! Just please, make your game feel alive via animations. I promise you, it's not just for us, existing players, but also for new players who will be drawn to AQ2D, especially from Steam, and they will stay if the game feels and looks good on the eye. Make animations for floating armors, make jumping actually jumping and utilize it in certain maps, make environment react to what the player does, make monsters track us with their eyes and head, please, please make your game feel alive.

Art: This is a hot take coming from me, and it's understandable if it doesn't click with everyone, but the game has a lot of very distinct elements from various artists, and it sucks. If the artists tried to stay true to the original art style of the game, it would've been a fantastic thing, but not like this. You have 50 shades of yellow all clashing with eachother, and nothing is in harmony. One armor has gold lining, one helmet has gold lining, but their colour, style, shading, grading and shapes are VERY distinct, and it's hard on the eye. For a game that relies heavily upon cosmetics, this is a huge problem which you can't fix by just making everything colour customizable. Colour customizable gear should be high tier, not accessible easily. Point is, a lot of artists are working on the game, which is great, but also a lot of artists also disregard the visual harmony of the game, which is not great. Each of their works are great on their own, just not with smushed together like a ball of red and green play dough.

Gameplay: We are seeing your efforts at changing the combat, and it is very refreshing and exciting to see. This game relies on three things: Cosmetics, Combat, and Story. Whatever you're doing with combat, especially with adding actual hitboxes and not making it spam 1234 to win, please continue on. As for the other aspects of gameplay, bring mini games back. Mini games have been very, very frustrating, especially if they were forced for progression, but they all had a charm to them. You had a vision, and you worked towards building and enhancing that vision, but you've discarded a lot on the way, that vision is not the same as you had in the beginning, and mini games are just one example of this. Certain parts of the map were clickable, or hoverable for information, with even secret quests. Only Artix and the original development team knows this vision, not us, so I highly suggest them to embrace that vision once more.

Story: You went beyond good vs evil back in the day where good vs evil was the thing. You introduced Chaos, you introduced amazing dialogues and monologues, you introduced excellent cutscenes, and you introduced a unique, unmatched story that is 13 Lords of Chaos, which were made up of all the classic, cliché tropes like vampires vs werewolves, a tyrant ruling over a town etc, and you made it SO DARN FUN. I've kept playing AQW because of how unique the story was, up until some point. The elements were exaggerated to some degree, which was fun in a flash game, but at certain point it just became bland again. There were no more unique storylines and it all became one thing after another, and none of them were memorable. Call me a nostalgic nerd, but I am being honest here. It's very good that you're aiming on tying some loose ends and polishing the old storylines, but you need to improve and be unique again. Parodies and small pokes were fun in moderation, but not when they're the main focus of an entire storyline. Sure it's fun defeating a Vegeta knock-off based on Vegeta-bles, that is funny and innocent, but I don't think players enjoy when the event consists entirely of that and nothing else. Brutalcorn trope was good, even mysterious to some degree, which made it cool, but seeing him on a lot of places made him an unfunny joke, nothing more. What I'm saying is that you need to be unique again, and maybe even not bring up a new storyline just because you need to, players will be fine grinding on end-game items for that week too, instead of playing such monochrome stories where the hero needs to slay x for x amount of time and click x's 8 times over and over again even with the new fun combat system. Please. Also, please objectively compare older cutscenes to newer ones, and see which looks the best. I'm 100% sure everyone is going to choose the older cutscenes, as they're actually worked on, rather than copying and pasting, like Sepulchure vs Alteon fight. It was one of the main reasons why I kept playing the game as a kid, I thought I was going to see more scenes like that, but no I haven't.

Recurring/Seasonal events: The events themselves are good, but if you ask an active player what comes to their mind when they hear the game's name, they're going to think about navals. A lot of navals. Recolor of navals, refit of navals, mashup of navals, navals on navals, naval navals, just navals. Don't get me wrong here, it's good that you actively bring more stuff about seasonal events, but the creativity is not there. At this point, you're only working to satisfy the whales and their never ending hunger for rare navals. Same goes for samurai and ninja cosmetics and black friday items. The main complaint here is that they are almost always recolors, reskins, refits and mashups. Nothing ever new, just a few more brush strokes on the same template over and over again. You see how that sounds excruciatingly BORING?

Bots: I agree that bots are bad. I also agree that bots are, sometimes, a necessity. Do you know why? Because spamming 1234 on the same square block of a map for 72 hours and killing the same enemy for more than 5 million times just to get something (if you're lucky, that is) is not fun. If the bot does this job for you, then you are going to bot almost always. Even the most dedicated player will bot at this point, because the requirements to get the item is realistically impossible to sit through. Some people just use auto clickers for that too, and ask yourself this question: If a simple auto-clicker gets the job done, is it fun, or even remotely normal to do it yourself? No. This will change in AQ2D I believe, at least partially, because the combat is going to be fun again, but I'm hoping the requirements also change to keep things fresh and entertaining for the player.



I know a lot of people will disagree with me, and feel free to say anything to this box of suggestions, but I've been honest, and I've went the length to show that I still care deeply about this game and it's future. I don't know who will read this (probably none of the developers) but in case if you do, and in case you happen to have a way to reach Artix, please just make sure he at least knows that this comment exists. I'm not even writing this for my own personal pleasure, I want to see AQ2D grow beyond its original scope, I want it to become a staple like how AQW did back in the day. I want players to actually enjoy playing this game, rather than botting some item and bragging about it by AFKing. What AQW has become is incomprehensible, and I really want to see AQ2D redeem the wreck of AQW. Thank you.
