Is Frostvale & The Maleurous connected story wise? I have been away for almost a year so I feel a bit lost. I tried to click on the quest right after Mr.Namless (yellow in colour) but the game says I must "save the village of Frsotvale first". Does this mean Frostvale has something to do with the Malerous? Will I have to get the storybook collection?

Yes without any spoiler one of the Maleurous attacked Frostval in 2019. It's a bummer because you either get the story book collection or wait until december to finish it

No, you just have to finish Mr. Nameless storyline first before accessing the next part. You don't have to buy Storybook collection or wait for december to continue Maleurous saga. Uaanta has all the quests required to finish this storyline.

If you have finished Mr. Nameless storyline (aka you see Mr. Nameless and he is not just a black icon) and still cannot continue the storyline, it is a bug.
