Cool! Checking out the Grenwog Slayer now.
So reading the info subs and playing it, I love it. Both the weapon AND the armor have chances for increased damage, so using them both you get pretty frequent chances to get strikes and the damage potential is pretty high, though random.
Though I would have liked it if there were an FSB of some kind. Perhaps if you equip both the slayer cleaver AND the Garb we can have a more chances to roll Insanity Strikes? I can't help but feel that these were meant to be used together, and there's a lot of synergy for using both. We should reward this more. It would also increase equipment and build diversity by encouraging people to utilize the FSB's instead of the current problematic trend of everyone using the best equipment (blood/zerker blade/armor and the other problematic friends). Hare-Raiser gets a bonus for using its corresponding set piece, so I don't understand why the Grenwog Slayer didn't get a bonus.
Also, are the armor and weapon BOTH considered "Insanity Strikes"? I used both, along with using each independently and I get the impression they're both insanity strikes. But it's hard to tell which one it was, or if both activated at the same time. Perhaps a slight popup text modification so that we can tell which source it was from?
