Sapphire -> Comparison of two scenarios (9/15/2021 8:34:18)

250 Int/Luk/Char Character

Both Scenario's:

Turn 1. Get celerity, cast arms of dragonguard, then attack with weapon.

Turn 2

Scenario 1: Using a Standard Darkness Spell, but have Mysterious Necromoglin Guest, and Poelala Pet.

What's Average damage of the spell with the boosts PLUS gauranteed lucky strike?

Scenario 2: Using standard darkness spell, but have dual-Rhubzards that have given me another 250+ Luck from the celerity turn.

What's average damage of the spell with the extra luck PLUS gauranteed lucky strike?

Thanks

.90875(1+.3+.12)(2(50+250/200*38.5)+250/200*115) = 514.512% melee with Booster pet/guest
.97125(2(50+250/200*38.5)+500/200*115) = 469.842% melee for two turns of Rhubzards granting +334 Luk, but stats are capped at 500 total, so 84 Luk is wasted
.97125(1+.3+.12)(2(50+250/200*38.5)+500/200*115) = 549.897% melee for two turns of Rhubzards on previous round, then switching to Booster pet/guest on spellcasting

Thank you

As an aside question...

Looking into the booster pets formulas, correct me if I am wrong, but I know these use 75% mainstat and 25% charisma to get the full boost, but since charisma is only 25%, it seems as though if my numbers look correct if you're able to boost INT enough it will cancel charisma out completely on the boost...

Arcane Amplification, can out-perform lack of charisma it seems. And I know it only goes to 1.1 with extra stats..

Correct?

RobynJoanne -> RE: Comparison of two scenarios (9/15/2021 18:00:07)

Those formulas are outdated. It's half and half now, so it's impossible to boost Int far enough to hit the maximum boost without some Cha.

Legendary Ash -> RE: Comparison of two scenarios (9/15/2021 18:09:44)

Your mathematics for canceling out the lack of Cha is wrong, 10% of the outdated 75% is only 7.5% out of 25%, Int would have to be 4/3 = 1.333 times of the 250 Stats to be able to replace Cha, but the scaling cap is 1.1 times.
Currently the 50% split between Mainstat and Cha means that the scaling cap is required to be at *2 to be able to replace it.

Ok thank you. Didnt know the formulas changed
