For some reason that I was never aware of, there was some problem way back when the statue appeared where that button didn't correctly bring you to the old war event. At some point a decision was made to cancel bringing back this war altogether, so the link on that button got wiped.
You haven't missed anything important in it anyways. It's just a very skippable basic war that leads from the Light Orb arc's finale into its Titan fight quest.
