Without dex, bun barret is relegated to one mode, it's damage mode. It will do perfectly fine without dex that way. The blocking mode while it's maxed with charisma, the total blocking help wont be great without dex trained.
As a result, there are better wind guests for just attacking, but it's fine using it that way.
1000 Lance strike is just fine too without dex. You can offset lower accuracy with charisma and luck enhancement, which btw, are the two toggles Sol Neko has (not to mention the 5 bth Sol Neko also gives to pets/guests for just being IN the armor), and since charisma and dex affect it's (and pets/guests) bth the same as one another, increasing charisma with gear will offset the bth reduction, which isn't a huge deal to begin with, so don't let the previous response discourage you, as I run this build all the time and it's a fantastic build.... and actually excels even more in Sol Neko. Just cater your gear around taking advantage of it's strengths as well as offsetting it's weaknesses...and boosting charisma happens to both enhance it's strength and offset one of the weaknesses of no dex...lower bth.
To me, at the end of the day, do you want to do damage with spells or with guests?
