By "all-game" do you mean all AE games? So this relates to the comet in the sky? If so this looks good!

For those that are willing to get multiple doomlights, you prob only need 3 to make it worth going backlash full time.

The following are the protection elements 39-42%.

Tremorhide- Earth, Fire, Darkness

Frostripper- Ice, Water, Wind (this one is worth getting especially if u can PCO to Ice and use frostwyrm helm/pet

Shadowspark- Energy, Fire, Light

Eternal- Darkness, Water, Earth

Emberheart (permanent package, so I'd skip for now) Fire, and *likely* energy and light, but info subs not out.


So you can get the earth, ice, and energy sets for full coverage or ice, energy and darkness sets. Ice and energy seems to be the two must-haves, and then from there you can just pick from earth or darkness.

Data agreggated from player feedback suggests that they eggspect an astronomically-large prank this weekend. When asked for a reply, developers said, "No comet." Sounds pretty suspicious to me.

This year's April Fowl festivities include:

  • Unlock the permanent Doomlight Emberheart set in our newest Z-Token Package, as well as many returning packages.
  • Loco returns for seasonal April shenanigans as a wild, misshapen pink mass has appeared at local farms 0_O
  • A meat-eor appears in the skies over Battleon for the month of April, bringing surprise items with it!

    There's currently an enemy ID issue causing an erroneous boss fight. The real quest boss will be here soon! (It's still an April Fools prank if it's accidental and we're getting hit by it too, right?)

    Played the release. A few observations:

    spoiler:


    1. A lot of the monsters in this quest seem to have had their stats adjusted to reflect the recent stat update. It seems like this'll have to be done on every monster manually instead of just having some master code that automatically shifts the stats for all monsters around.

    2. Zoomed past the release dialogue, but I was surprised there was no mention of the ongoing (or chronologically preceding event) for the Blarney war. No spoilers about the Fortune Thief.

    3. As for the item (FO Ice Armor), it seems that it gives you a STR/CHA boost every time you get hit, and once you dip below a certain amount of HP it gives you celerity. I actually like this kind of effect because it rewards you for going second, unlike so much of AQ play styles and battles where you try your hardest to always go first as much as you can. I might experiment with this to optimize an always-2nd strategy. Could even make a few niche farming strategies involving going second or not healing to maximize your opportunities to start every battle with automatic celerity.

    Loco can actually look pretty scary up close.

    It's an interesting and surprisingly deep look at his character. I've never really thought about it, but, man, living in a world where time gets reset time and again would seem pretty pointless for atemporal entities, wouldn't it? When nothing you do lasts or even matters in the end... why do anything at all?

    Lazy Quest is back! Is there any changes made to it?

    Edit: Is Lazy Quest bugged? Its capped at first minute

    Unexpectedly lost to the boss the first time with the wind nuke, but knowing about it the 2nd time was very easy.

    The armor seems interesting. At first, I was thinking it was best for a beast warrior, but then I remembered STR adds to all attacks, so it's for everyone. I guess STR now is a universal damage buff, and thus, now it's dawning on me even things like buffalo can be a helper for everyone, albeit small.

    The STR and CHA buff for being hit is an interesting idea, but IMO too small to really be of too much significance. However, celerity is different and can be nice. Too bad, considering being hit it giving charisma, that the celerity isn't also for guest/pet, so I think the features collectively are just best for non-Beast builds. I have some flashbacks of beast king jammies a little bit. I loved that armor years ago.

    Questions..

    The pedia didn't update April Fool's quests beyond 2016. I see 2017 is the lazy quest, but it isn't giving gold beyond that initial amount. What gives?

    Also, what are the rewards from '18, '19' 20', and '21?

    The surprise shop has a painting, so later you can access the goofy face that nobody likely will use and the weapon that nobody will likely use.

    But yeah, it's there.

    Ok 2 things.

    First I abolutely love that curse in the very first Battleon scene. "Holy Serenias feathers" should totally a thing our char has to scram next harvest festival! [:)]
    Second that is an exciting and very unique armor. Great taste in looks and effects!

    Did they nerf Lazy Quest? It never seems to tick over from 1 min rewards no matter what I try, which rather defeats the purpose of it.

    It's bugged right now. The devs are aware of the issue and will address it when they can (probably sometime this week).

    No joke... Imr has fixed LazyQuest! The quest can be accessed by clicking on the spinning Loco head in Today's Event Page.

    Just a warning, I was looking over the numbers again last night and I think that the stat boosts on the armour are twice as strong as they should be. I'm either gonna need to halve the boosts or throw on some more penalties for it :/

    Unless you have a window from a prior Lazyquest active it's back to the 1 min reward version now.
