Will Waffle Cone boost the backlash of the Ice Fiend of Nulgath?

I know the CHA boost will def increase the backlash but was wondering if the direct Ice damage is also increased.

Damage dealt by Backlash is sourced from a status condition much like Bleed/Burn/Poison and only their saves scale with stats, their damage does not, thus are not considered direct damage that qualifies for normal damage boosts/EleEmpow and mitigation like Choke/Panic, only status specific boosts like Neko subrace's Bleed/Burn boost and EleVuln affects them.
