What are some fun mage armors to run? Archmage and Necromancer have utility, but anything in other elements I should be on the lookout for? Lean is irrelevant, I just want the sense of a mage having lots of abilities, Fujin is a fine example too.

Fujin is build neutral, its blocking skill doesn't scale to any stat it is not made for any specific build archetype.
Vampire subrace has more Int and mana oriented skills than other standard subrace and armors.
Paladin is the first modern Tier 3 class with 20 skills similar to Necromancer, the Arcanist variant uses mana and Int for its skills.
