The Hunters' Festival

A new tournament is nearly upon us! Visit the Slayer in the Barrens to purchase a Hunters' Festival Ticket to guarantee participation in Delta V's latest test of might and endurance! This is the biggest prize pool yet (crafted with care by Acatriel and Bido) so even buying a ticket and not winning a single duel will earn you a wealth of exclusive tournament weapons and armors!

This tournament will officially start Friday May 20th and last until Friday May 27th!

There are so many items in all these tiers that we won't be able to use the automated system for tournament rewards. At the conclusion of the tournament, please allow some time to update all the winning and participating accounts.

It should go without saying but I'll reiterate that this tournament will be moderated and any players suspect of breaking the rules by botting or exploiting the 2v2 link feature to earn quick wins will be investigated and have their score reset to 0 if they are found to have violated the rules. Play safe, play fair, and duel on.






Balance Changes
Some of last weeks balance changed greatly overtuned Tech Mages. The following changes have been scaled back to their pre-update levels.

Tech Mage
NanoTech Shield: 10% damage reduction max
Battery Backup: 5 turn cool down
Plasma Bolt: 15% defenses ignored!





Other Changes

Over the next few weeks we'll be upgrading many of EpicDuel's oldest and most common animations to a new standard of dynamism and brutality. Some of these haven't been changed in over 10 years and Acatriel was up to the task of revamping then for a new generation of EpicDuelists.
