Hey there, heroes!

Professor Kassandra has located the ruins of an ancient temple hidden deep in the jungle! As her plucky assistant, of course, you're going to join her on her latest and greatest expedition! But you're not the only ones on the trail of discovery! A crew of Archeonauts seems to be one step ahead... Can you beat them to the ancient temple and divine its secrets? Or will you hold back Professor Kassandra and be too late?

so is there ever a reason for being unable to summon our dragon in certain quests like this one

i mean i have other pets obviously but it's just kinda annoying when i summon them at an earlier point and now i enter a battle and they're not there and it feels arbitrary to not be able to resummon them and there's no immediate explanation as to why that i'm aware of <.<

^Since it has been some time since this quest chain was updated, recall that we are in a landscape that ain't the material plane. It's not like we would always dream about our dragon now, would we?

....I mean was there anything like four quests ago that said or showed your character being like "you decided to keep (Your Dragon) in Battleon for (the duration of this storyline)" or anything?

I don't see why you couldn't have had your dragon with you previously and then they entered the... realm things.... with our character and the others *shrug*

^Uhh, what now? If we're being confused by the vastness of the deep loring that we've been doing, this chain is separate from the Maleurous. Just rechecked the previous quest that preceded this, and our Dragon is also uninvitable. Preserves the immersion in the chain based on its turn of events. Before further arguments can be made why we were able to access our dragon in Remthalas' dreamscapes and not in these fearscapes, just put it in your head that anything can happen in the landscape of the mind.

...i dunno what the Malerous had to do with what i asked... i never brought them up?

i thought i remembered being unable to summon our dragon in the earlier fear engine quests... so it's just a random arbitrary decision to make em unsummonable then...

A small detail about the quest someone other than me might find interesting - parts of the area you end up in at the end ( Spoiler image ) are lifted from Cornelis in AQW's Chiral Valley( Image )

^ I never would've made that connection! I can't be sure whether it could be lore-related or just burrowed assets, but good eye nonetheless!

Ah, I had a feeling Kassandra's primordial weirdness was linked to the Exalted. Her artefact looked a lot like the Warden, and I figured her Fear magic was a form of raw Mana. I honestly wouldn't have minded a little more time in that temple tbh. And if that Fearscape was based on one of her memories, I'm guessing that was the southern continent? If there are indeed ruins of Ehr'Ishin there as well in Lhe'Shyiac for Notha to discover, it might be that pieces of it have been scattered all over Lore...

And as for whatever astral dimension we're in now, I must say it is quite beautiful. Especially that black hole!

I'm glad the movie Interstellar exist, because now everybody is making Black Holes with that AWESOME "swallowing a star" design.
