Sphinx Jevoha -> RE: =AQ= Entropy II (9/29/2022 20:43:08)

Info Subs for the Warmaster Dragon Rider are out!

Fully-Defensive (FD) Fire Armor? Yep!

3 Skills for the Armor? Yep!

Both of my suggestions were fulfilled :)

@The Hollow Thank you very much for incorporating player's suggestions!

The Hollow -> RE: =AQ= Entropy II (9/29/2022 20:53:53)

The next chapter of the Entropy Saga has arrived, as well as the new 20K Warmaster Dragon Rider Z-Token Package!

PD -> RE: =AQ= Entropy II (9/29/2022 21:39:32)

spoiler:

Looks like Karuna will begins the steps to ascend to godhood. Interesting development there. Interesting conversations between her and gods.

Also looks like we're about to get a final epic showdown for Entropy. Awaiting the reaction when everyone finds out that Drakath was Entropy all along. Then we'll see how Drakath, upon being outed and losing everything will finally become *that* dragon due to his sheer hatred.

Moral of the story - Excessive Anger will mess you up. See also: Zhilo.

As for the items, surprised that WarMaster didn't end up being a clone of Griffin/Grave Riders. Also the spears themselves are pretty interesting. Divide that cost over 4 turns and using the skill is actually pretty economical if you don't mind all the various downsides.

Also a quick question:
spoiler:

Just as a reminder, when is this actually taking place chronologically? I'm assuming that the Sinister 7 War is no longer considered canon?

J9408 -> RE: =AQ= Entropy II (9/29/2022 21:45:25)

This is quite the FD fire armor! Is it the best one we have at the moment?

Lorekeeper -> RE: =AQ= Entropy II (9/29/2022 22:26:58)

spoiler:

Karuna's apotheosis was interrupted. Falerin and the Chosen were coming up with the tactic of creating the appearance that it's ongoing and ripe for interruption by Entropy instead.

Chronologically, Chessmaster and Entropy are in a tricky place. Chessmaster, Entropy's arc, and Erebus's arc, ran concurrently while all being world-altering events that could logically only be simultaneous if the Chosen was on multiple places at once. Unfortunately, they wound up being locked into simultaneity by virtue of being interconnected, and the Shadow Universe arc had some later-corrected retcons about Erebus's origins. Consequently, there is simply no way to arrange these stories in a timeline in their entirety. Their conclusions, however, are happening in a linear fashion.

The order remains Dragonlorn Keep -> War Between Shadows -> Season of Consequences, with the in-story reason for the resulting gap between the vague placement of original stories and their more precisely placed conclusions being the time it took to track down Radagast and Karuna.

Korriban Gaming -> RE: =AQ= Entropy II (9/29/2022 23:09:19)

The Warmaster Rider looks amazing! Thank you staff for listening to our suggestions!

The anniversary pet on the other hand...yea it's just horrible and basically almost a clone of the other guardian dragons. I get that it's free but I have pretty big expectations for 20th anniversary since 10th anniversary was so well done

Sphinx Jevoha -> RE: =AQ= Entropy II (9/30/2022 3:52:45)

The Warmaster Dragon Rider is really nice!

@The Hollow Just 2 things I wanted to ask: Could the 1st Skill be weapon-based? We are currently upgrading the other 20K Armor packages to have weapon-skills (Akriloth, Airenal, Sinmaw, etc.), so please consider making the 1st Skill of Warmaster a weapon-based Skill as well.

Secondly, would it be possible to lift the position of the armor on-screen? Most of the body + legs of the dragon are hidden behind the Player Information tab, and the dragon itself appears quite low. If you could just move the position of the dragon higher on-screen, then it would greatly improve the aesthetics!

Please consider these minor changes, thank you!

Sphinx Jevoha -> RE: =AQ= Entropy II (9/30/2022 6:50:54)

The description given for the 1st Skill on Warmaster Dragon states, "an empowered Weapon strike," so I'm guessing it's supposed to be a Weapon-based Skill.

@Brocolli Nope, the damage for the 1st Skill comes almost entirely from the multiple-turn Fire Burn, the initial 4-hits do like 100 damage in total, reducing that to 70 damage and making it a Weapon-based Skill doesn't make it worse. The Fire Burn isn't affected by the FD status.

This code can be redeemed once per character, expiring at 11:59PM EST on October 31st. So come celebrate 20 amazing years of BattlingOn and pick up your pet dragon today!

That bolded part isn't actually true, you can redeem it multiple times on the same character, you just have to vault each of the old copies of the pet before redeeming it again. You guys might want to bubblewrap that system some more and if that's the same system used to determine which characters can't receive certain prizes again during lotto events like Back to School you definitely should bubblewrap it more. [&:]

Thanks for reporting. You can indeed get multiple Plat Dragon Jr's if you so wish by vaulting and re-claiming with the code.

The Back to school items can only be received once per character ID, they are using a different system to be awarded. ~Anim

battlesiege15 -> RE: =AQ= Entropy II (9/30/2022 13:27:48)

Wow, that's a lot of stuff in just 1 armor lol.
Why does the Platinum Dragon Jr. get 2 turns of pet paralysis after an attempt? Is it a decreased penalty for the effect and made up for by having it not act for 2 turns instead?

Also, wish that since it's a once-per-battle effect, we could have a MC for the rest of the battle after it uses that one attack :(

1) The pet pays 22.3% damage (8.92% melee) + Once-Per-Battle Bonus + Pet Paralysis (2 Turns) to pay for the Windswept effect with a -20 Save Bonus. Keep in mind that Freeze-type effects are the most expensive statuses in the game on a per-turn basis, so with the -20 Save Bonus you need ~128% melee for the effect. Given that pets are only worth 40% melee, it has to pay all of the above to reach 128% melee (8.92 + 20 + 80 + conversion-to-status calcs).

2) The Once-Per-Battle effect is the MC, so no, in its current state the pet wouldn't be able to have another MC effect. Damage/Status MCs are worth 2% melee, a battle is expected to last 10 turns, so this brings it to 20% melee, which is consumed by the Windswept attack.

On related note, I think that it would nice if the pet had a chance to inflict Windswept normally, and the MC (Once-Per-Battle effect) simply gave one-off super charged Windswept attack.

The benefit of the skill being spell-type is that the EleComp can be used to increase the power of the burn. Currently, at lv150, the Burn's Power is getting ~x1.44657 multiplier from EleComp. For reference, this takes the Power: 5 Burn and makes it a Power: ~7.23285 Burn. This means that making the skill weapon-based would be objectively worse since it would negatively impact the core purpose of the skill: Inflicting powerful Burns.

Please, yes.

And update the normal and bronze guardian dragon ones too. [:)]

+1 to this, that would make it so much better than what it currently is

Sapphire -> RE: =AQ= Entropy II (10/1/2022 7:07:57)

Nobody will use this pet as it's currently constructed, and non dex BM's may actually set it on fire and eat barbeque Slonder

E.Matrix -> RE: =AQ= Entropy II (10/3/2022 14:36:21)

Suggestions to improve Wartorn dragon rider (seems a little underwhelming right now)
1. Add a harm toggle
2. Have the player heal x% per damage dealt
3. Maybe change the skill to quickcast

Primate Murder -> RE: =AQ= Entropy II (11/7/2022 23:40:55)

Are there any plans to finish the Entropy Saga this year?

At the moment we're missing not only the Entropy finale itself, but the reason for the anniversary event - why the surge of wild magic even happened - and that leaves the entire questline feeling like I somehow missed a key episode in a tv series that everybody else keeps referring to, and I'm left with no idea what's going on.

I love LK's writing, and I'd rather see it done justice than be relegated to a few battles with some ominous comments sprinkled in.

Lorekeeper -> RE: =AQ= Entropy II (11/10/2022 12:37:15)

The Entropy finale is in the works, but the actual release had to be rescheduled to next year. It was a hard decision to make, but the anniversary was a huge rush for Imry and Kamui. The rescheduled releases were a necessity in order to give them some much needed rest before the month-long Frostval rush, rather than push them through an extremely packed last quarter after a period of health issues.

Apologies for the inconvenience -- And thank you very much for the appreciation.

Primate Murder -> RE: =AQ= Entropy II (11/11/2022 3:00:25)

Woe is me!

(thank you for clarifying)

Lorekeeper -> RE: =AQ= Entropy II (11/11/2022 14:23:33)

Thank you for understanding. Hollow's scheduling call prioritized everyone else's health while keeping his own workload very high, even taking the shifting of my own time and work into special consideration, so I'm grateful both for the decision and players understanding. Rest assured, the final sequence, boss, and rewards are worth the wait.

Edit: The continuity for Season of Consequences and Storm of the Century will add up cleanly as of that point as well!
