aaegis -> how is the art of the game made? (11/2/2022 15:24:35)

I've been playing the game since 2006 and I started doing digital art some time ago, but I don't know how the game's art is done, I mean the program used, if they use any templates for the classes or if they can be done in another program like photoshop example. I really wanted to produce more arts in the dragon fable style, I hope someone can answer me hehe

As this is a simple inquiry instead of something warranting a very in-depth discussion, this should be, along with other posts that also fail to meet the latter criterion, in the Q&A segment of the (DF) Forums.

Anyhow, to answer this question. If you are referring to how DF content gets animated (as any decent art program should do no less than a pen and paper sketch), they are .swf (Flash) files. As they are Flash files, good luck on that due to the fact that only the AE Games Launcher is what makes AE's Flash-based games work without strings attached or weirdness (I've heard Puffin also allows running of AE games, but not up to the same capacity). It should be possible to replicate the animations to another program (there are swf to gif or even mp4 conversions possible in the net), but don't expect that a company will just hand over their assets (yes, the animations do have templates if you pay attention enough to your encounters. Just go ahead and check attack animations at the least) to an unrelated party.

orry for the post here, I'm not used to using the forum, and thanks for the answer, I was curious because I researched and saw that there are several templates for aqw and many players end up making items for the game and sending suggestions, that's what I had in mind
