So as the end of the contest is coming near next week, for those of you not on Discord, I've been doing a lot of number crunching and analysis behind the scenes. The tracker from last year which I have since revived along with a new set of gold contest predictors. What I'm sure most people are wondering is "how much is it going to take to place in the top 50 this year?" At least tentatively, the first project, the tracker as of this post, says it's closer to 29.3 billion, but my predictor, after you adjust it to the secondary pressure with a 7.5% adjustment (due to the stretch goal) says that the cutoff this year will be somewhere in the 28-28.5 billion range assuming the uplift is 50% this year (IE, the % increase over the average standard trend). If the behavior is like last year though the predicting models are more bearish believing the final tally will be somewhere in the 27-27.5b range (40% uplift, 7.5% adjustment). I'm pretty anxious to see where things stand after the contest. My analysis last year had mixed results of course, as I overpredicted by 6% from last years' tracker versus what the actual result was. But if I drop by the same 6.7% I did last year versus the value it is right now (29.3b), then the value is pretty close to the pattern from last year (~27.3b). As with all things, I think my tracker is as usual, overestimating, but I think my predictor is actually underestimating, so I believe that the true number is going to be somewhere in the middle of the ranges of 27-29b that my models are in between of. So boldly I'll say that the final number is going to be close to 28b gold. That aside, I've been playing this contest to exhaustion and I look forward to a very long and deserved break after all of this. Good luck to everyone!

Axe of kindness- Turned out alright, not bad. Not great, but not bad. Forcing you to attack to get the "boost" is a downside. Using spell-based skills like with bard or Neko's built in stuff means the boost isn't firing, so it negates the usage. Trying to use a weapon with a special to gain pet/guest boost in a FD armor is a bit weird. However, the special being a CHA boost is nice, and the CHA boost amount sort of makes up for the suggestion not being all that close to battlesiege15's suggestion. It's fine. I did think transferring the all elemental weapon bonus may have been a bit nonsensical considering your pet/guest isn't also multi elemental, so I suppose it makes sense. 7 of 10. Slaymores- Losing a turn for 3 rounds of pet hypercrit and guest ice empowerment is fine, as losing player turns isn't a huge thing as a beast build. However, the ice only guest empowerment is the only downside. I personally don't use any ice guests so that part will be a waste for me. However, the second item with pet hypercrit is a very nice addition and stacking with Optico actually makes this very very very good. It's worth a carry. 9 of 10. Would be 10 if the empowerment was all elements, but I understand. All in all, averages to 8 in 10, so I can't complain. Good items!! Congrats to all on the stretch goal. Hope this is something we see more of in the future.

Was there an engine update that was pushed earlier today? I noticed that regeneration effects seem to be resolving differently than before. And maybe alongside some other updates if they could be noted. Thanks!

Thank you so much Hollow for the shout out and Animal King for the artwork! I love how the axe changes color based on the element you hit with. I really like both weapons (slightly biased heh) and I think it can make for some pretty fun combos! You mean the thing where it would kick in after you're reduced to 0HP from Backlash damage, thereby letting you go wild and nuke Backlash bosses without having to worry about that mechanic? Yeah, now regen only kicks in if you have >0 HP. It seemed like an obvious bug, eh?

OG Ranger's wish has been granted XD Another BiS item for players (like me) who rely on pet hypercritical ! I'd love to see more overcharged pets and guests this year. Currently we somewhat have only one for each elemental slot.

Progress? They're all already out. You just go to ballyhoo and get them from the contest section, they stopped putting them in the player inventories directly.

Thanks Dreiko, I just realized how poorly written my post was, got to make a note for myself, never to post when I am super tired. [:D] Anyhow I was actually wondering if there was any decision made by the staff regarding the donation contest items, since there was an official feedback thread for it. =AQ= Shadowstalker & Devoured Earth Sets Feedback I am aware that there has been quite big releases lately so I totally understand that it has not been the top priority for the staff but I was just wondering if we can expect an update this month or next month or if both of the sets will remain as they are right now?

If I recall, there's some changes waiting in the wings for shadowstalker but I'm not sure if there's any for devoured earth.
