  • At the start of every turn, Master Twang applies 'Defensive Stance' or 'Offensive Stance' depending on whether the player have damaged Master Twang, which is represented by the color of his saberstaff: red for 'Defensive Stance', yellow for 'Offensive Stance'.
    • If Master Twang takes direct damage by the player, he applies 'Defensive Stance' (+10X All Resist, -10X Health Resist, where X is the number of times in a row that the player damaged Master Twang while 'Defensive Stance' is applied, capped at +50 All Resist, -50 Health Resist) applied to himself for 99 turns. While affected by 'Defensive Stance', Master Twang retaliates 50% of his base damage range. Master Twang begins the battle with 'Defensive Stance' applied to himself. (Pop-up: Master Twang acknowledges your presence.)
    • If Master Twang did not take direct damage by the player, he applies 'Offensive Stance' (+10Y Bonus, +10Y% Boost, where Y is the number of times in a row that the player did not damage Master Twang while 'Offensive Stance' is applied, capped at +50 Bonus, +50% Boost) to himself for 99 turns inclusive.
    • Each stack from 'Defensive Stance' and Offensive Stance' are reset upon switching stances.
  • At the start of his turn, if Master Twang's 'Defensive Stance' or 'Offensive Stance' exceed 3 stacks, Master Twang applies 'Inner Power' (+25Z Melee/Pierce/Magic Avoidance, +25Z Crit, where Z is the number of times 'Defensive Stance' or 'Offensive Stance' exceed 3 stacks) to himself for 99 turns inclusive. If 'Inner Power' reaches 4 stacks at the start of his turn, Master Twang can use Attack Type 11.
  • Master Twang follows these skill rotations depending on 'Defensive Stance' and 'Offensive Stance';
    • Defensive Stance: Attack Type 1 -> Attack Type 2 -> Attack Type 3 -> Attack Type 2 -> Attack Type 4 -> Attack Type 5 -> Repeat.
    • Offensive Stance: Attack Type 6 -> Attack Type 7 -> Attack Type 8 -> Attack Type 5 -> Attack Type 9 -> Attack Type 10 -> Repeat.
    • Upon switching stances, Master Twang will continue where the previous stance rotation left off while pausing the current.
    • Master Twang will pause these rotations to use Attack Type 11 if the player's HP falls below 20%. If 'Inner Power' reaches 4 stacks, Master Twang will use Attack Type 11 indefinitely.
