Hero's Heart Day 2023: Lovesick
Hey there heroes!

It's that time of year again! You've received an invitation to enter the Forest of Infinite Terror, and Big Daddy needs your help! But wait. The forest seems less terrifying than usual. Something's not right.

I would ask how Love missed an entire blade still remaining Big Daddy's heart but then again who knows how long their eyes have been a mess.

Additionally, judging by what we see in this quest, I'd say the presence of the entropic microbes, the bane of harmony, and that all too familiar golden, with a mix of blue, bones in Big Daddy's body would seem to imply that Odium was no simple giant but quite possibly an Infernal.

Which may also semi confirm that Love truly is a Celestial? Although I wonder what this means for cherubs like BD considering he was once a human.

There's certainly some environmental story-telling going on here. His blood appears to be a pinkish hue (though this didn't really surprise me) and as you pointed out there appears to be Exalted technology bizarrely lining his blood vessels. And the Bane of Harmony is similarly styled, but with that red-black gem that the microbial Entropy was coming from. The arrowhead also seems to have broken a piece of Exalted microstructure. This might rule out the possibility that this tech might be augmentations put there by Love when they 'patched up' Big Daddy, as it implies the arrow struck after the augmentations were made. Then again, if Love supposedly missed it, and the arrowhead had only started secreting the infection after all this time, maybe it slowly made its way in and damaged the wire in the process? Hard to say.

As for Odium, I would wager him being another weapon of war made by the Exalted, due to the affinity for disease and that he must have been a true colossus; his heart was big enough to fight on dragonback after all. Whatever the case though, this may trace the origins of Entropy back to the time of the Exalted, which is pretty cool.

This certainly raises more questions over Big Daddy too, or 'Valentidus' as Safiria called him. He seems to have a very long and complex history that we know very little of.

the scenery inside Big Daddy was really cool. The problem is after 2 amazing HHD releases (Adventure Friends 1,2) anything else especially a short release like this has became a disappointment for me. Not trying to be rude i know the staff worked hard it's just how it is.
