Taltheking -> Why I can't get any defender medals? (2/25/2023 10:44:31) Hello everyone, I bought the storybook collection and im pretty upset because wars semi the past doesn't give you any medals at all... and it's kinda useless.. where can I get any more of them? And what the chances that that will give us the option to get those from the storybook collection? Still we pay for it... Thanks

There has been no indication that it would change soon. Some quests in DF however have a chance to drop them. Your best choice would be Tynduyr's Disarray in Tyndur's Dephts (accessible from Book 3's main story: Awakened Depths) that has 40% chance to drop a Defender's Medal.

(2/26/2023 2:34:56) While the DMs debacle has already been answered, lemme clarify your confusion to the purpose of the Storybook Collection. It was solely built so that players are meant for any reason to access seasonal content regardless of time of year. This can be particularly effective now if you consider the demographics of the DF playerbase being (young) adults already in university or working class, not exactly the age demographics that are conducive to constant playing. Especially so when there are pretty plenty of seasonal content, particularly in Mogloween (can definitely feel long depending on the player's pace to unlock all masks) and Frostval (can consistently get 2 weeks of content with or without the need to tickle the warmongers).
