Well, you've pretty much answered your own question if we are to connect it based on your previous inquiry (and TBF, this doesn't really warrant an in-depth discussion). If you've bought already the most relevant DC items short of the Chrono classes (sans Chronomancer and -corruptor which are only facelifts of the originals and thus are out of place in the modern DF combat arena), then go for the Chronos. Otherwise, try venting out any hints of compulsive spending out of the monthly DC items and the end-of-quest DC shops for bypassing drop RNGs (that Spellseeker belt in the latest Convergence arc quest does feel a bit BiS).

If the next thing you'll try to open up is why there being scarcely any new equippables, particularly those that are BiS, then it'll start to sound like that one r/dragonfable inquiry answering why such is happening. To be accurate, that inquiry had one DF redditor having to be educated thoroughly why not many weapons that can do damage are popping up (I'll just give this link to get down to the serious part of that reddit Q&A thread that I'm talking about instead of wasting time on formatting). Although it is a thread about weapons, the logic behind it is also applicable to non-weapons.

Dunno if you have it but if not definitely buy the Seasonal Book. True it's not cheap but easily the best DC buy in the game. You can just play almost all seasonal events if you are bored.

^He already does, hence why I had the "if we are to connect it based on your previous inquiry" part on my first sentence.
