Okay, so, I'm a pretty old-school Dragonfable player who has been around since... when, pretty much the start, but I ended up falling off for quite some time. Now though, I've started poking and prodding around a bit again, potentially to see if I can't see the story and game though after being around for so long.

However, all this 'Reimagined' stuff - which sounds pretty fun - in the dev notes has me wondering. Just, how much of Dragonfable has been reimagined? Is there any parts that people heavily recommend for me to replay, or should I just go in and continue? I will admit, I don't know where I am in the Book 3 storyline. I think I did the desert storyline? And I know I've done Tomix's Saga for sure, but as emotionally powerful and gripping as it was... its still a side story in the end. So not sure how far behind I am honestly. Either way, just how much work has been done with the reimagining? As it looks like its been going on for quite a while.

If you need to know where you are in the storyline, Books One and Three have a feature called Timeline to track the progress (only track, not lock you in). Most of the reimaginings are focused on Book 3 main story so as to streamline the story flow and rendering characterizations more defined. Your Sandsea/Surewood saga that you claim to be where you last stopped, you're right in the middle of one of the reimagined arcs. Which will tell you which part of the main story has been reimagined. So far, all main story in between the negotiations with Akanthus (Early Sulen'Eska arc) and the Swordhaven arc (events leading up to our first encounter with the Magesterium) seemingly the new focus of reimaginings. Amityvale hasn't been touched as characters and story construction seem sound still relative to the big picture. The Shears will become the portion of the Espina Rosa infiltration arc. I'll warn you though that Tomix's Saga ain't much of a side chain. Not if you'll respect the main story. DragonFable has gone to the direction that the Hero is not just a DragonLord, but a Soulweaver too.

Non-story, which tends to be Book 1, classes have been reimagined so as their skillsets are up to modern standards, with Ninja being the latest to be put to the modernization process.

EDIT: Now that I've seen the character page your Forum account is displaying (if that's what you'll use), I only see five that have stood the test of time (your DA DM Ring and Necklace, Blade of Destiny, and your Doom and Destiny Axes). Not really a problem as story content are meant to be for the general playbase to be able to clear. DoomKnight v1 should still allow you to fast lane through the storyline, but the new DoomKnight is just as viable and more in line to the current battle standards of the game (be more strategic to earn your right to wield items, not necessarily to the Dark Souls degree). This is particularly apparent in the game's endgame hub, the Inn/Arena at the Edge of Time, where v1 is blacklisted. And before opening up the complaints, players have moved on with regards to that and embraced the new battle standards.

Well uh... sorry for taking so long to reply to this. But, thank you very much time to answer my questions.
