Objective: As you near the end of your Guardian training, Guardian Trainer Eckhard has asked you to pass the test of might by defeating Dragontamer Firehammer on his own turf.
Objective completed: The fiery power of the dragontamer was no match for your might. Return to Guardian Trainer Eckhard to unlock your next Guardian ability.

Firehammer: FOOL! YOU dare come here, to my own realm, and face me?!
<Character>: I'm supposed to do this for my Guardian training. So, do we just fight here or...?
Firehammer: Training?! Are you calling me weak? You'll pay for that insult!
<Character>: Hey, I don't want to tell you how to live your life, but yelling in THAT helmet could cause some permanent hearing loss.
Firehammer: WHAT?!
<Character>: See? It's already happening.
Firehammer: If YOU are the best that the GUARDIANS have to offer, perhaps it is time to go and conquer that tower once and for all.
<Character>: So you admit it! You're threatening Falconreach! The Guardians were right! Ok, your plans stop here, Firehammer!
Firehammer: Pysaurus, I command you to my side!
Boss Fight!
Battle! - begins battle with Dragontamer Firehammer and Pysaurus.
Extreme Mode - begins battle with Dragontamer Firehammer and Pysaurus.
*After the battle, Firehammer wails after another loss, as your HP and MP are replenished.*
Firehammer: Defeated? How is this possible? How could you overcome the bond I've forged with Pysaurus?!
<Character>: Don't you have a Dragon Amulet?
Firehammer: No. Those stuck-up DragonLords refuse to give me one. And I've certainly never been lucky enough to stumble across one in the wilds.
<Character>: So... what do we do now?
Firehammer: I'll retreat. Bide my time. Train up more dragons. Then, when you and your Guardians least expect it...
Firehammer: ...There will be nothing you can do to stop me! Nothing!
*Firehammer runs away.*
<Character>: We'll see about that, Dragontamer Firehammer...
<Character>: Might want to put on some clothes next time though!

Completion of this quest will unlock the 13th Guardian class skill.
An additional, temporary access point is available via Trainer Eckhard at Falconreach Guardian Tower (Book 3) during Guardian class training.
This quest acts as the Book 3 version of The Dread Dragonmaster.
