sw416 -> Looking for tips for warrior build (11/23/2023 3:07:36)

Recently came back, trying to play as simple big damage number warrior, but I feel like I don't understand any of the new meta stuff. Any tips are welcome so I can see big numbers again. I probably need to fix my stats too, not sure what's the current preference for pure warrior. Tried getting some "BIS" stuff, doesn't seem to be helping. https://aq.battleon.com/game/flash/charview?temp=19965175

Warrior builds have a lot of options on how to get really high damage, so you've got a lot of choices, but I'll start with the way I see a majority of warriors doing high damage.
1: Spamming weapon based skills with booster pet and guest (you have dunamis, you can grab angra linnorm as a f2p pet)

-For this, people basically pick an armor with a weapon based skill, or elelocked attack, and and just spam it, because they have cheaper SP costs. An example you have is Paladin, it has several weapon based skills. These skills work particularly well with booster pets and guests, and other damage boosting sources, like miscs, bloodblades, or even your serrated sacragon spur passive. There are f2p options for almost every element of armor with a weapon based skill, you can check out this forum page for more item information https://forums2.battleon.com/f/tm.asp?m=22403711 . But briefly,
Fire: Torontosaurus Rex Rider
Water: None f2p :(( (Human fisher is basic and solid for a R ggb)
Wind: Mark of Wrath
Ice: Knightmare Armor (coming up as Frostvale Seasonal, highly recommend)
Energy: H series (top 3 strongest armors in the game, or close)
Light: Paladin is great
Dark: Several okay options, but Angel of Souls or Werewolf Predator of the Night is my recommendation

So in short, using armors like these, with specifically weapon based skills, and not spell type skills, you'll do significant damage for low SP investment. Having a weapon like Magnablade, Terminus Twinmaul, or another bloodblade equivalent will also help a lot. To take these skills further, you can add imbues, quickcast buffs (although a majority of both cost tokens or IRL funds, Olympax Medal is an exception though), or elevuln strategies, but those are all a bit more complicated. Adding hypercrit of any kind will let you use your Grandad Sword very well too, which is a nuts powerful weapon.

For stats, people generally choose either STR CHA LUK for warriors, or STR END LUK. I'm personally a tanky warrior STR END CHA fan, but that's just me
Let me know if you have any questions, I hope this helps. If you need guides to get any of the items, particularly Mark of Wrath or H series, there are some guides on youtube I can recommend later

So I shouldn't have any DEX as warrior? Can I get some suggestion for misc/quickcast buffs? I have around 90k tokens so z token items is fine (bought some packages when I came back), but probably not gonna buy more package only items for a while. Got quite a few R/UR GGB as well lying around. I also ended up grabbing the dunamis pet package, is that better than linnorm?
