Laeon val Observis -> RE: Most Fun DC or Updated Classes (7/25/2024 0:58:20)

I would recommend that you go ahead and test most classes to find which would fit your liking. If you need more info on each, you can start off with this roster and peruse further from there. While it is relative to current challenge boss trends, at the end of the day bosses are the best sources of duress to unleash a class's full potential. It is far easier, though, to know which classes are not worth the purchase or use: - Icebound Revenant-lacks non-potion recovery skills.
- Gnomish Personal Steamtank Mk II-supposedly earned the "Mk II" as it replaced an older OP due to bug variant, but now is no different from it. Particularly dated in feel. That's all you need to know.
- Reforged Chronomancer, Chronocorruptor, and Avatar of Time-just facelifts of the originals. Awkward if not showing the passage of time in terms of practicality of usage. Not much of a reason to fork over 4k DCs for each of these classes.
- Ascended Chickencow-just like the above, eye candy. Be glad it has a 50k Gold equivalent, which can be relatively easily (re)acquired if you're max level.
- Dragonslayer-do we really need to spell out the one niche where this class is deadliest?
- Shadow Hunter-poor man's ChronoZ at its current state. There were plans to reimagine this class years ago, but they fell into silence.
- Frost Moglin-not even its Artifacts make it competent.
- (Evolved) PumpkinLord-yeah, needs reimagning to work.
- Non-Artifact Soulweaver and DragonLord-without their Artifacts, barely holds any worthiness to be the Hero's classes. Soulweaver, in particular, may need reimagining as it is a shadow of its former might in terms of how it distorted combat design.
- Master Soulweaver-lacks sustain for all its defensive capabilities.
If you are going to be interested in getting DoomKnight, feel free to do so. Just note that you will get the modern version, not the blatantly OP v1. Not as mind-numbing as the latter (to the point it is blacklisted on the majority of Inn challenges and challenges that follow Inn rulings, e.g. Jaania EX), but still packs the power to hold the grip of being the strongest class.
