How do i get new skills. And what are skills tied to? Iam currently level 13 and i picked brawler or fighter something, so im wondering are there classes like aqw or is it something else that skills are tied too.

Adventurequest Classes, much like AQW classes, are trainable, but rather than training them by using them, you need to complete the quests from the class trainers (whoever you got the class from). Some of the outdated ones require a dice roll to level the class.
This is how you train a class's "level", which is also what unlocking skills is tied to.

Words of caution however:
Classes, rather than being the driving force behind what your character can do at a time, is only one of many armors you can have equipped, and only governs what you can use specifically in that class armor. Modern classes also have skills that can't be used unless your character is that class, so you should eventually, only be using one class in your active inventory at a time.

To follow up, skills are tied to armors - some armors have skills and some don't. All class armors have skills but other armors can have them too; as an example there's an armor that causes you to take more damage but allows your pets to act twice each turn.

Like Branl said, in AQ your character is more defined by their whole inventory than just your class so there's no need to be too concerned about it. You can just pick up gear you like, and typically as you get stronger you'll be more likely to pick up armors with skills along the way.

Is there a list of all the different class armors?

Welcome to AQ. May I recommend these guides? The new AQwiki(unofficial, player maintained) has an equipment buying guide and much more.

New Player Guide
Stats and Builds
Skill Types

Skills, spells and other similar effects are a part of many armors and items but since classes are only a small part AQ players kit they usually aren't a character's defining trait but their stats, item focus and play-style are. There's plenty of play-styles that focus on spells and skills like spellcaster mage, status eater builds and weapon-based skill casting builds. Other than the updated subraces, Necromancer, Paladin and Wizard you probably won't have much use for classes at higher levels but you will have to rank up lower tier classes for the higher tier ones.

Tier 1s scale from level 10 to 30 but they also get a master armor at level 105+.
Updated Tier 1s
Archer: http://forums2.battleon.com/f/fb.asp?m=22407288
Fighter: http://forums2.battleon.com/f/fb.asp?m=22406817
Mage: http://forums2.battleon.com/f/fb.asp?m=22416572

Wizard while outdated is still good for mage builds: https://forums2.battleon.com/f/tm.asp?m=2870217

Subraces start at level 10 except Werepyre which starts at 40. Werepyre shouldn't be utilized as one of your core armors unless you are a level 100+ hybrid. Updated subraces and Tier 3 classes will scale all the way to the highest levels if you finish their advanced quest and buy the advanced armor. Subraces come with a free armor that will scale with you and come with elemental variants in their respective shops.

Updated Tier 3s and Subrace info

If you want updated information on a quest or class you may want to ask here, on Discord, by adding site:forums2.battleon.com to your internet searches, using the forums encyclopedia(often outdated so the info submissions are recommended), Item Indexor the forum search function. The old fandom AQ wiki rarely gets updates and was never official so you have to resort to more updated sources.

For the item index try using Data, Create a filter view to narrow down what you see.
