CarrionSpike -> =AQ= Project Necrotech - Access Granted! (9/21/2025 17:09:19)

COMING THIS WEEK!

20K Z-Token Package - Necrotech Armor & Helms
Centuries into a possible future, the world is under siege from the Sunderstar, a derelict space cruiser commanded by the formidable lich admiral Gau Nergal. To combat this cosmic threat, the Necrotech Collective of Neld created Necrotech Continuity Avatars, powerful mech suits that allow necromancers and their allies to project themselves into battle.

This sinister package includes two helm faces and the Necrotech armor, with an arsenal of abilities:
  • Orcus Drive: Embrace a dangerous core overdrive that sacrifices your maximum health for immense bonuses to damage reduction and elemental burn infliction.
  • Necroplex Sequence Cannon: Unleash a powerful spell that drains enemy health while burning their MP and SP, turning the tide of battle with strategic resource denial.
  • Zero Point Threshold: Store your power to prevent death and gain permanent regeneration when you fall in combat, ensuring the Necrotech's will is never truly broken.

I have been farming some gold to donate later this year and I have noticed a trend. My Guardians reach the 55 Z-Token cap faster on average than my X-Guardians against the same monsters.

I appreciate the mechanics being told in the newsletter, In my opinion it's definitely a preferred change for me. Also, that new shield is looking absolutely beautiful, vibrant and colorful. Always love those

ArchNero -> RE: =AQ= Project Necrotech - Access Granted! (9/23/2025 6:48:22)

Idk if this is too predictable or not but I imagine with the autumn aegis shield if it's like the other two aegis shields before it, i'm guessing it has the same burn skill and then for the second skill it will inflict windswept. Not that I care too much if this is the route going forward for future aegis shields, but I think it wouldn't hurt to at least try to change it up for some of them.

Yozai -> RE: =AQ= Project Necrotech - Access Granted! (9/23/2025 11:09:53)

^I would not mind if they cover all 8 element with the aegis.

The Hollow -> RE: =AQ= Project Necrotech - Access Granted! (9/25/2025 15:36:35)

Raphael 777 -> RE: =AQ= Project Necrotech - Access Granted! (9/26/2025 2:53:44)

Okay, I've been playing around with the Autumn Aegis shield and so far, the only spiritual seed that can give a reasonable barrier is the one from Healing Seeds. Been using Gauntlet of the Western Horizon and Mighty Morphin' Wild Golem Stranger, and a barrier worth around an average 18 HP after 3 turns got a guffaw out of me. Two casts of Healing Seeds gave an average heal of 1200+ HP and a 300+ HP barrier (might be useful in a situation where delayed healing is welcome).

A weapon or misc that can give a fairly power spiritual seed or aftershock might make this useful for an aggressive build, but for the time being, the Healing Seeds spell currently seem to be the best partner for this shield. You anticipate a fairly nasty attack, cast Healing Seeds (once or twice) for a delayed heal, take damage and then heal all or some of that damage back and get a reasonable barrier to mitigate the next attack. Suitable for beastmaster or high CHA builds since Healing Seeds rely on the CHA stat. Anyways, this is one funny shield.

Aura Knight -> RE: =AQ= Project Necrotech - Access Granted! (9/26/2025 12:06:55)

The healing seeds spell needs to stop triggering Lucky Break. It's not a negative status but is treated like one. Effect rarely gets to go off if you're running luck. If this changes it'd be an obviously perfect pair with Autumn Aegis.

I would love more in art style of Autumn Aegis.
Reminds me of Lyra Dawnbringer from MTG an Autumn Angel set in this stained glass style would be amazing.
