  • Y is number of times in a row Attack Type 9 was used during its previous 'Kartherax's Prison'.
  • Kartherax begins the battle with the following permanent effects applied to itself:
    • 'Psychic Inversion': While affected by this status effect, Kartherax has a 'Psychic Inversion' counter that starts at 3 and floors at 0.
      • On the turns after Kartherax uses Attack Types 7 and 8, the 'Psychic Inversion' counter decreases by 1, to a minimum of 0.
      • At the start of each turn, Kartherax checks the combined instances of all status effects that reduce its Boost, Bonus, Crit, Melee/Pierce/Magic Avoidance, or Block/Parry/Dodge Defense.
        • If Kartherax was affected by total number of negative status effect(s) on any of the following stats (Boost, Bonus, Crit, Melee/Pierce/Magic Avoidance, Block/Parry/Dodge) that is equal to or greater than its 'Psychic Inversion', it applies 'Realized Inversion' (+A% Boost, +B Bonus, +C Crit, +D Melee/Pierce/Magic Avoidance, +E Block/Parry/Dodge Defense) to itself for 4 turns inclusive. (Pop-up: Kartherax inverts negative offense, Avd, and Def effects!)
          • A is equal to the twice of the total value of -Boost currently active on itself upon applying 'Realized Inversion'.
          • B is equal to the twice of the total value of -Bonus currently active on itself upon applying 'Realized Inversion'.
          • C is equal to the twice of the total value of -Crit currently active on itself upon applying 'Realized Inversion'.
          • D is equal to the twice of the total value of -Melee/Pierce/Magic Avoidance currently active on itself upon applying 'Realized Inversion'.
          • E is equal to the twice of the total value of -Block/Parry/Dodge Defense currently active on itself upon applying 'Realized Inversion'.
        • If Kartherax was affected by a status effect that applies multiple debuffs, each is counted for 'Psychic Inversion'.
          • Multiple status effects of the same type are also counted.
        • Additionally, the 'Psychic Inversion' counter resets to 3.
      • If the 'Psychic Inversion' reaches 0, Kartherax becomes eligible to use Attack Type 10.
    • 'Enthrall': Kartherax has an 'Enthrall' counter that starts at 10 and will reduce by 1 on its turn, floored at 0.
      • If the 'Enthrall' counter reaches 0, Kartherax automatically applies 'Enthralled' to player's pet for 1 turn and resets 'Enthrall' counter to 10. (Pop-up: Kartherax enthralls your pet, stunning it for one turn!)
      • If Kartherax receives direct damage by a stun effect, Kartherax removes all stun effects from itself and resets 'Enthrall' counter to 10.
  • Upon applying 'Kartherax's Prison', Kartherax creates a separate HP counter equal to 15% of its max HP and will exclusively use Attack Type 9, which gains increased damage, Bonus, and Crit each turn (Z).
    • The HP counter from 'Kartherax's Prison' can be damaged by direct damage and DoT effects.
    • If the HP counter from 'Kartherax's Prison' reaches 0, 'Kartherax's Prison' is removed and Kartherax resets its rotation. (Pop-up: You manage to free yourself from Kartherax's Prison!)
  • Kartherax follows the skill rotations;
    • Rotation 1: Attack Type 1 -> Attack Type 3 -> Attack Type 2 -> Attack Type 4 -> Attack Type 5 -> Attack Type 7 -> Attack Type 2 -> Attack Type 3 -> Attack Type 1 -> Attack Type 4 -> Attack Type 6 -> Attack Type 8 -> Repeat.; this rotation is used if one of player's Avoidance (Melee/Pierce/Magic) or Defense (Block/Parry/Dodge) stats is greater than 120 on its first turn.
    • Rotation 2: Attack Type 2 -> Attack Type 3 -> Attack Type 1 -> Attack Type 4 -> Attack Type 6 -> Attack Type 7 -> Attack Type 1 -> Attack Type 3 -> Attack Type 2 -> Attack Type 4 -> Attack Type 5 -> Attack Type 8 -> Repeat.; this rotation is used if one of player's Avoidance (Melee/Pierce/Magic) or Defense (Block/Parry/Dodge) stats is lower than 120 on its first turn.
    • Any of these rotations can be paused on one of the following conditions:
      • If Kartherax was affected by 'Kartherax's Prison', Kartherax will exclusively use Attack Type 9 until 'Kartherax's Prison' is removed.
      • If Kartherax's 'Psychic Inversion' counter reaches 0, Kartherax will prioritize to use Attack Type 10 once.
