^ Seconding this. The original Doom Knight armor looks fantastic with my Warrior character's custom face and the main reason I don't use it more is that the skill being Ranged/Magic skill doesn't really work now with the latest stat update. Would also be fun to see it synergize in some way with the Doom Knight Armaments package, but one step at a time. In any case, I'm really looking forward to the Gatekeeper Armor in particular and I'm curious to see how it will combine the Shadow and Reign effects.

It's fine if it's not ready for a long time, but it would be nice to know it hasn't been forgotten about. I got the full Ironhoof Annihilator set and have been wanting to take it for a proper test drive for months now, so it would be nice to know that there's still light on the horizon. The release requires one additional day to finalize and complete testing! It should be ready to go on Sunday, barring any unforeseen, major complications.

Work on the Shadow Set is progressing well, but it will not be ready for release today unfortunately. We appreciate your continued patience, and it looks like it will be ready to release early in the week!

The release is mostly LIVE! All of the Shadow Set gear has been updated, while the Gatekeeper Armors and Shadowsteel Blade are still in development and should be released later this week.

Set looks really interesting at a glance, or at least the armor/shield/pet (main doesn't use DEX so can't really check the spear on her); being able to flip between Blind and Panic on a dime (even down to already-applied statuses via the skill) gives it some very interesting defensive flexibility, and both directions give the set a tooon of combo potential. Curious to see how the whole thing shakes out numerically, and in how the bonus items turn out once they're ready. ~~Side note: has the set's associated wand been touched at all? The description doesn't appear to have been updated (yet?) but that doesn't necessarily mean the stats are the same.~~ EDIT (re: below post) ah, noted!

@ Jakau it has been confirmed that the wand is not yet updated General comments also - conceptually seems great, I love the skill that swaps blind for panic on the armor! kudos to staff for pushing through, excited to see the rest (shadowsteel, forgotten totem) + Gatekeeper! +1 bump also to the OG shadowspear art request, while we are re-visiting it, its a real favorite!

Yeah, it will be really good to have retro versions of the both the Reign and Shadow sets, for those of you who may not know, the retro Shadowspear looks just like Conflagrating Spine Lance, just without the flames.

I know a Geldar guest was considered when Reign was revamped last year, but could we also get an Illunis guest, possibly as a Panic-inflicting Dark guest? Both their designs are great.

Enjoying the set so far, the MISC, and weapon are staples in my equipment now. I do agree that a different guest/spell would have been nice, to my knowledge it doesnt look like the gatekeeper does anything besides a strong attack, though i see its a old spell as well.

Don't really have much reason to use the armor in place of the Necromancer class armor, but the new Shadow weapon is very strong and will probably be my go-to Darkness magic weapon for the forseeable future.

The set Shadow Set is great, especially the choice to swap between dodge and tank mode. The downsides are the totem and staff, which are still a bit underwhelming compared to darkness weapons like Eye of the Underworld. BTW, what about the Gatekeeper armor? I completed the whole quest but didn't get any reward shop other than the basic Shadow set. Correct me if I overlooked something, though.

The Gatekeeper armor, guest, and Shadowsteel Blade are still in development, and will be released as soon as testing wraps up.

The fact that the Gatekeeper armor has been delayed for so long honestly makes me pretty excited to see what it does - if it's that complex it may be something more than just stapling the effects of Reign and Shadow armors together, as the original Gatekeeper armor did.

Quick update: the Gatekeeper gear and Halliphax guest are in testing and should be ready for release this Tuesday (barring any serious problems). No changes for the Grim Totem and it will continue to function as-is. Thank you folks for being so patient!

I can't say I'm exactly happy that we're sacrificing a harrowing totem update for two different gatekeeper armors, when two different art armors with one effect would be more than enough. It's just a shame, really, because now I doubt Harrowing Totem will EVER be updated at all, and it'll just remain outdated, unlike liquefactor from the reign set. A shame, really, but I hope this at least helps the staff with not having too much on their plate
