If that does not work (I have a feeling it might win, but it would be obnoxiously slow considering the nature of GD's Grace mechanics being able to play against what Paladin lacks against him), ninjutsu should still hold a candle as they also have a 1-turn shield.
TBF, your question seems to be borne out of rhetoric rooted in frustration. Aside from being lazy to bear with training Techno (I remember one Battle Strategy post that you responded as such a few years back), have you been neglecting your Dragon? Even then, the revised Dragon growth system means that growing them to Kid form should have rewarded you (up to) 200 points to train their stats if you haven't maxed them yet. That should give you enough points to 199 PROT, 1 FIT them at the least to make GD bearable.
