GodJank -> I really like the RGB Vents and the potential they have for the game. (5/18/2026 4:13:24)

I think the RGB Vents that DLSS introduced have some huge potential down the road, not just for future bosses but also for a potential roguelike gamemode, which I think could be beneficial for the game in a number of ways:

1. Accessible content:
I don't think it'll surprise anyone here to say that Inn Challenges, while fun, have been a point of contention for a long, long while, because of how difficult they are and the pre-farm that is necessary to tackle a number of challenges. I think introducing new long term content would be useful in introducing people to harder content without overwhelming them with a bunch of requisites.

2. Longevity:
I think DragonFable players all lose interest in the game at some point, so I think having newer, long term content could prove highly beneficial to keeping the game active for a longer period of time.

3. Potentially avoids burn-out:
One thing I've always felt is if Verlyrus would feel burnt out having to release a new Inn Challenge every single month, so I think having newer "end game" content could potentially make the first week of the month feel less forced.

4. Opens up otherwise impossible builds and playstyles:
Being given a bunch of random skills (and generic filler ones specifically for this gamemode) could open up a bunch of new playstyles for people that really like making builds. I think min maxing and making a build around a very specific strategy is precisely why games like Slay the Spire succeeded.

I don't know how hard it was to actually code the RGB Vents to replace class skills, and how difficult it would be to implement that on a larger scale by having you build your own class with 14 unique skills, but it's just something I've been thinking about and I'm curious what other people here have to say.
