Stone Level: 36 Price: 700 353 Sellback: 280 350 176 Location: Yulgar's Beginner Shop Element: Earth Melee 30 Ranged 30 Magic 20 DEFENSE MODIFIERS Fire 100 % Water 100 % Wind 110 % Ice 110 % Earth 75 % Energy 90 % Light 100 % Darkness 100 % Description: Very heavy-- so it increases your base damage a bit but also decreases accuracy a bit. Good earth defense, moderate energy defense. SPECIAL Base Damage: +1 NORMAL ATTACK Hits: 1 Damage: 100% base and random (plus special) BTH: -3 [image]http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm261/Eikgaezyl/stonearmor.png[/image] Commentary: This is the only one of the L36 armours that I never bought as an Adventurer. I pride myself in hitting my opponent, after all. But, I did the entries for the other 4, might as well test this one out, and this'll probably be my last Armour Encyclopedia entry for a while. Anyway, as far as armours go, it's actually pretty useful in multiple situations. While the other 4 armours all cover one of the 3 Defensive Modifiers well, Stone manages to snag two at once with 30, meaning less need to constantly switch armours between encounters. It's almost a weaker version of the Cloak of Invisibility. The Earth Defense is also not too shabby, as there are quite a few monsters that do Earth Damage despite their element (Undead Wounded springing right to mind, but there are many others). But, once the Magic comes into play, it may be more intelligent to bring out something like... Aqua. It does have the small benefit that it doesn't suffer from huge (120-130%) weakness to a specific element, though. This is nigh-useless for Guardians, again, because the Guardian Plate does such a nice job with 30-30-30. Though, its base damage increase can figure in to the buying decision, barring the extra 50 gold compared to the regular L36 armours. Attack from Legasee.
