Thanks Maxwell. This means there is a possible 2 extra avatar, meaning 2 fakes maybe. A quote from Death says he didn't know of the avatar's known as hope and omega(the two fakes?). Or maybe he say he didn't know of hope because he is trying to replace her.

8 chosen avatars, 1 fallen, 1 born, 1 missing. It sounds as if hope isn't a faceless, but an object of desire. It seems like Hope is missing. 1 Avatar fell, Makkisar, and a new one is soon to take his place.
Truth said his avatar chose a path of evil, which, as truth regrets, changed him. Maybe, when Truth bound to Makkisar, Makkisar was one of good noble intent, a truthful person. Makkisar, if once good, would be a good host because he gained the ability to time travel. Of course, Makkisar took the path of evil.
Now he is focusing on an avatar of all that is good to bring him from the darkness. I think Truth is indeed good. It seems as though when a faceless binds itself to an Avatar, the faceless is bound to it until death do them part. When the avatar goes bad, the faceless is altered. Truth isn't dead because we didn't attack Truth. Truth may be weakend now due to the bond being severed though.
It is also implied that some Avatar are aware of the other presence in their body, such as Edward and Death.

I think the 8 chosen Avatar are going to save us. Lets go out on a limb and say their 8 faceless are the elemental lords (faceless is logical because they can't take a solid form, but who says they can't enter a host body?), 2 extras. The Avatar of the Creator and the Avatar of the Devourer.
Epheel mentioned an person or thing is coming to do the will of the Devourer. When it does, his gift will glow. The gift could be the relic. It is said that Hope is inside this relic. Maybe it is glowing because the Creator is activating in response to the Devourer. The person attempting to do the will of the devourer could be the Devourer's Avatar. In response, the Creator is activating his avatar. This could lead to a crazy theory that we are the Creator's Avatar.
