Weapon has a unique Magic inventory icon. Weapon has an unknown, very low drop rate from select quests. Weapon was initially available to purchase at Cysero's Shop until the release of Cysero's Superstore of Savings! on September 21st, 2007. Possessing any CorDemi Codex weapon in a player's inventory will permit access to the Vend-tron 3000 (All Versions) shops; - Following implementation of Dragon Coin sellbacks in February 2008, only versions purchasable with Dragon Coins—or those which dropped prior to this time frame—would permit access; this was fixed in October 2008.
Weapon is animated; the symbol on the key's appearance pulsates between green and black continuously. Click anywhere on the weapon to see and hear it change between its Key, Sword, Dagger, and Staff appearances;- Each appearance will change the weapon to its corresponding item type (Key acts as a Sword), however its damage type is locked to Melee.
- If shown, changing the weapon into a key will compress the equipped weapon's damage range to 10% of its original values, rounded up.
- If shown, changing the weapon into a dagger will change the equipped weapon's item type, allowing Rogue-based classes to dual wield any weapon upon hiding the CorDemi Codex.
Weapon was previously available from the retired quest Sneevil Box Fort.
