Oh ho! A question and answer session, is it? Indeed I'd best be careful not to ask superfluous questions, huh? Depends on whether you actually desire answers I'd best focus on the issues, get back to basics, and not screw up with question choices, eh? Where is the fun in that Oh dear, that was three questions already. Please don't answer them [>:] Too late Well, let's start with some random questions. Who am I kidding? Not me oh random admin of Caelestia.net Let's go entirely with random questions. 1) In some games/fantasy settings, I've noticed an oddity- while some spirit could be, say, 'Jomgz, the Spirit of Volcanos', they would be defined as a spirit, or even demigod instead of a deity. What, in your opinion, should the defining point be? It is purely a matter of scale. Also declaring things openly as deities tends to be daunting. Some games however fly in the face of that norm 2) Which is the most important part of a chocolate chip cookie (This could be applicable to double, triple, or even dectuple chip cookies), the dough or the chocolate? Your nuts... er the nuts 3) When reading fiction, I've noticed an odd trend some authors possess- some will religiously note meals, and campsites, and give details thereof. Others, however, will simply note that they stopped to rest for the night, or even skip that bit, ignoring more mundane details. Is it better to focus on the story by ignoring those details to some extent, or to explore them, and thereby expand upon the perceived realism? Balance is the key. I like works that give depth to mundanity to a degree but there are some authors that are so pedantic in the details that they become mind numbingly dull 4) Do you think the average Chocobo would enjoy Norway or Finland more? Dunno. A moogle might know. Ask Pie 5) Do you prefer epic or satiric fantasy? If you're on the fence, I beg for elaboration. I am divided. It is a nice log fence, maple I think 6) Did you, indeed, take the name 'Falerin' from old english tales? Variants on them yes If so, what prompted you to use it in your later Caelestian endevours? The persona grew with me directly. Early variants of the Caelestian mythos actually involve an analog of Merlin too If not, please reply like a pirate would. I think this was two questions. Arr... I think it was three meself matey 8?) What do you think the best metaphor you've ever heard for the concept of 'Time' is? Time is like jumping out of the plane. Its thrilling but you always wonder whats going to happen at the end 9) Were a genie to appear and offer you a wish, how would you phrase your reply? I would run like hell 10) Rhyme or Reason? Each in it's season And that concludes my carefully audited submission. Have a nice day, and a Merry Christmas! Unless you don't celebrate any holidays of Terra, in which case, Happy Neirztnach! You count oddly
