BecksMaster -> RE: The Nautican Welcoming Committee: Thread III (3/13/2010 13:39:44)

Hail and well met! [sm=DS.jpg]

Though I've been playing AQ for a while, I'm new to Paxia and Nautica. And, at least as measured by activity, new to the forums.

I felt it was time to learn more about the role of clans; and, Nauticans seem to be deeper thinkers than other clans [8|]

Hyrdocannon47 -> RE: The Nautican Welcoming Committee: Thread III (4/2/2010 0:32:19)

Well met indeed Master, it is great to see new members here.

Perhaps as the last clan head, I should show myself to the newcomers. Albeit half a month late.

birdy -> RE: The Nautican Welcoming Committee: Thread III (4/2/2010 12:33:57)

And ya, we sure are more deep-thinking than the other clans ^^

Hyrdocannon47 -> RE: The Nautican Welcoming Committee: Thread III (4/6/2010 22:56:15)

True indeed. Tis a great clan.

bunnykiller -> RE: The Nautican Welcoming Committee: Thread II (4/12/2010 22:22:45)

Hi i'm new, though i have been in Nautica before(i never knew there were even forums then lol)

maximillious -> RE: The Nautican Welcoming Committee: Thread II (4/16/2010 20:52:35)

Welcome home bunnykiller ! We are quiet for periods but we are here.

birdy -> RE: The Nautican Welcoming Committee: Thread II (4/27/2010 19:49:24)

These boards are essentially impossible to kill, might go into hibernation now and then but seriously, in all the years Paxia has been, we've been around nearly all the time ^^

nightfall0 -> RE: The Nautican Welcoming Committee: Thread II (5/27/2010 19:12:09)

*sigh* I remember the great active time of our clan. When we warred with Aerodo and Geoto and came together as a clan to do great things. I do miss those days [:)] I've taken a break from AE games but stop by every once in a while, I'm glad to see Nautica is in great hands as usual and still hanging around [:D]

Edit: Throwing in the siggy for old time's sake [8D]

CommanderHawke -> RE: The Nautican Welcoming Committee: Thread II (6/10/2010 15:18:21)

How do i leave A Paxia clan?

Hyrdocannon47 -> RE: The Nautican Welcoming Committee: Thread II (7/31/2010 18:06:32)

Hmmm, welcome to anyone new.

Just checking in for my semi monthly check on anything paxia related.

Sig for old times sake.

~ Stay true blue!

The Lady Reilly -> RE: The Nautican Welcoming Committee: Thread II (8/6/2010 9:42:26)

@nightfall0

i could sing '...those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end...' la la la la la la la la la la la

but I won't because I'd drive everyone away

It's actually really nice to be back and playing again. I guess all of us have a lot of reasons as to why we stopped playing but does it really matter?
To see all the new Nauticans - woooooooo. I'm really astounded by the fact that I've seen our defence on Paxia rise by over 100 over the last couple of days.

Lkeas -> RE: The Nautican Welcoming Committee: Thread II (8/6/2010 13:30:32)

Indeed! I'm returning myself after a long absence (crunch time at work will do that to ya) and am looking forward to trying to resurrect this forum once again. I was very surprised to see our defense numbers in the positive, someone's been doing a lot of work honoring Nautica's philosophy of good defense! Welcome all new and returning Nauticans! Let's build something great!

The Lady Reilly -> RE: The Nautican Welcoming Committee: Thread II (8/16/2010 8:29:04)

Yes, over 2k now and climbing every day. Trying to do my bit again with at least a few rounds every night. Some of the monsters are driving me crazy though - keep getting ones 15+ levels to me and Sneak on a Plain is going to be the end of my current monitor, I can see it now. Dynami defence doesn't seem to be moving much although Igneous is going up? Sorry if this isn't the right place to put such a discussion - forum rules/allowable content seem to have become more strictly regulated in the few years I've been away. [sm=icon_frown.gif]

nightfall0 -> RE: The Nautican Welcoming Committee: Thread II (4/15/2011 21:42:29)

Heh, I actually get a little weepy thinking about the good 'ol days. I was going through a bit of a tough time back then and the clan really helped me out of my funk. I sincerely hope the clan isn't totally dead and *Someone* checks up every once in a while.

birdy -> RE: The Nautican Welcoming Committee: Thread II (5/9/2011 23:21:32)

Well, there be some check-ups and all, not sure about updates xD

But I concur, the old times were wonderful (God... I think I'm gonna be stuck in this "when we were..." x.x).

Torium -> RE: The Nautican Welcoming Committee: Thread II (7/11/2011 22:22:20)

i'm codebreaker on AQ and i just recently joined Nautica.

zippinbolts -> RE: The Nautican Welcoming Committee: Thread II (7/13/2012 18:32:36)

I have been in Nautica for a while and decided to pay our forums a visit. Is it still active?

dethhollow -> RE: The Nautican Welcoming Committee: Thread II (7/14/2012 0:07:03)

Uhh.... Define active? I manage to post in the Ampetheatre weekly, but I just delete and re-post every month so I don't have a ridiculously long edit....

hiddenfire -> RE: The Nautican Welcoming Committee: Thread II (7/4/2013 2:13:54)

To old and new Nautican's alike: A hearty welcome, to all of you seabelievers, into the clan that I believe is the front line for keeping Paxia safe. From along her shores we make sure no invading force can take a single step without getting swirled away or sinking into the depths.

I first Found Paxia when on a quest to find the best elemental conductor for a Magiscientific Staff. A staff, which I had hopes, would be able to feed off of the strength of the element incorporated into it, so that any power it used was called forth was from the very essence of Lore.

It was on this expedition I found my way into the harbor of Lolosia. It was there that, in exchange for a few ship modifications to one particularly tough pirate's boat turned house...or was it house turned boat? Bah, it doesn't matter. What does, is that when his house was all shipshaped, he gave me an ancient cloth map that was stretched so thin it barely managed to stick together. It was, so he claimed, a map that led to the birthplace of all elemental power and that if I was looking for a missing elemental link in my design, I would no doubt find it there.

Nine weeks later I found myself stranded upon the sands of the bottom most corner of Paxia's shores. And it was there that I first met the Nautican's' and witnessed their unbelievable control of the waters around them. It was then that I knew, the elemental magic I was missing was right in front of me and so in order to harness that magic, I turned away from my Drakel beliefs and sided with what, in my opinion, is the most powerful and ancient of all the elements. To this day, I still believe that to be the greatest decision I have ever made.

And now that I am here and studying beneath the waves of this amazing Island I call home. I hope to see our clan rise to the head of Paxian power like it deserves. I hope that we remain the powerful defensive front line that we have tried so hard to be. Most of all though, I hope we retain our wisdom, the cool calculated way with which we fight and defend the honor of the elemental power of water.

Together, I hope that we can continue to restore and build this place up and see the Meduse rise to the surface, as home to some of Paxia's greatest strategists and most noble warrior pacifishes. (OK, terrible pun, but I needed at least one, right? [:D] )

Kilvakar -> RE: The Nautican Welcoming Committee: Thread II (7/31/2013 19:48:08)

Indeed, it is time for Nautica, and all of Paxia, to rise to prominence once again.

Hyrdocannon47 -> RE: The Nautican Welcoming Committee: Thread II (4/10/2015 10:28:30)

Just a small check in, it's been so long, looks like Nautica and Paxia is quite dead, but it was once a great place.

Mnemosyne -> RE: The Nautican Welcoming Committee: Thread III (6/12/2015 22:01:20)

Hello,

I've been Clan-less for pretty much my whole AdventureQuest game, I'm not sure what a 'Clan' is. Can someone tell me what being in a Clan entails?

Thanks!

EDIT: The Clans look pretty inactive though... Months between posts :(
