One thing, Memphis, is that it would be hard to keep a match lit with the increase in wind within the arena. Also, Gedd, he does not have an unlimited number of studs on his armor, so he will run out if pressed. Plus, he has to know that the attack is coming to be able to block it with a stud, and it would be ineffective against something like a crossbow bolt or arrow, since they would be moving much faster than a flying knife. Also, they are very limited in range, being fired by turning small pockets of water under each stud into steam, creating a sudden rise in pressure. Hence the champagne cork analogy. This means they are ineffective as an actual weapon, being unable to damage an opponent, but there are other uses for them. As for the bolts, they are made of super-pressurized water, shaped into a needle-like shape. The latent magic, combined with their pressure, allows them to penetrate most armor. There're a few other tricks I can do with them, but they do not possess any kind of magical homing ability, travel the same speed as a normal bolt, and can be dodged with skill. Plus, my aim is not infallible and I can miss if I'm rushed. Also, nightly, don't forget that TD's character had essentially engulfed yours in a dome of water, with the spears sticking out from the walls into the center. Seeing as you've already post, and TD won't be back for at least another three hours due to his job, I imagine he'll have to work with it, but please keep in mind that your ability, thus far, borders on bunnying, since you're not providing an opportunity for TD's character to react in any way. Please be sure to design your future posts with an opening for characters to respond before you actually activate an ability like that, and talk to them via PM if need be. That is, of course, assuming you didn't check with him beforehand.
