This is just a simple allegorical poem I threw together. For those who don't know, Puffin is a kind of bird, a real bird. However, it's not literally about the birds, they are used allegorically (symbolically). Hope you enjoy it! As the Puffins Sing a Happy Puffin Song Puffin, Puffin, In the sky, Flying high, Never sigh. Looking down, Never frown, Never bound While seeing sound. Puffin Puffin, flying ‘round Up and down and through the clouds; You look down with a great fright, Puffin hunters by and by. Puffin traps, they make you duck As they come swinging up, No persuasion, just evasion Works when there’s no heartache station. Puffin Puffin, Hiding out; Puffin Puffin, ‘round about; Puffin Puffin, Shady route; Puffin Puffin, Huffin’ out. Puffin Puffin, In the sky; Puffin Puffin, Never dive; Puffin Puffin, Fly so high; Puffin Puffin, Never sigh. Residing on the hilltops, Harvesting your green crops, When suddenly your mind pops With the need to sing a song: “Puffins, Puffins, all around; We’re Puffins that never frown, Taking trippy, happy sounds Like Enya and The Byrds to town! Puffin, Puffin, Oh so sweet, We’re out on a Hazy fleet; Never sighing, Never dying, Always flying Off our feet!”
