I'm warning you, this is a crazy idea that's probably not going to be feasible, but I'm still gonna enter it since I find it's a great idea, and I hope the staff agrees with me. Weapon Name: TMF Battlerifle (TMF is for Tactital, Multi-function) Artwork: Coming soon Visual Descriptions:The TMF's appearance varies with what add-ons it has. Without any, it looks like a regular assault rifle, made of dark metal, pretty large, but still small enough to use one-handed. Backstory: Build by engineers of the Warpforce, the TMF was design to be an excellent weapon for everyone, in every situation. The basic version of the TMF Battlerifle fires balistic bullets at a rapid rate. But it's strenght is the version add-ons. The TMF can be customized quickly to adapt itself to any dangers. Special Flavor Abilities: Ok, now here's the crazy part. I though that the TMF could be the default weapon for player. By speaking to an NPC, you could change the add-ons of your TMF to change it's attack power/BTH/special effets, ect. WarpGuardians have acces to better upgrades, and you get more as you level up. The TMF Battlerifle has several equip slots: Ammunition (decides which element the TMF deals), Upgrades (as you level up, an upgrade add-on allows you to deal damage better suited for your higher level), main attack and secondary attack (the special). A few modules I though of are: -Automatic Rifle: the default setting, fires 3 times, for slightly over average damage, with slightly below average BTH -Blade Attachement: Allows the TMF to be use as melee weapon. Different blades could have different stats. -Sniper Rifle: Adds a scope and a long barrel to the TMF. +BTH, -damage (since you only get to fire one shot per turn) -Grenade Launcher: The TMF gains a large barrel below the main one. Occasionaly, instead of regular bullets, the rifle will shoot a grenade for greater damage. -Laser Rifle: The TMF fires laser beams instead of bullets. Average damage for average BTH. -Stun Ray: As special, the rifle fires an accurate stunning jolt that may paralyzed the opponent. Something else of which the engineers of Armory Unit #2000 might not have thought: Errmm, buy one and get a free bonus DVD? But seriously, the idea behind the TMF Battlerifle is that your default weapon can be changed to better suit your needs. In AQ, you always have a default weapon that you can't trade for another, and as you level up it gets too weak for stronger monsters, and becomes wasted space. So now your default weapon levels up with you. I also like the idea of making your own, special version of a weapon to better suit your preferences. Following the same idea, why not make it color custom, or better, allow small badges to be placed on it (Anything from cool/funny/spiritual quotes or medals ("Player Name" has fought in X war)). I know it's crazy, but hey, this is AE. Nothing is too crazy for AE.
