I feal you turkish , I hate unfair luck with a passion now, it seems to be getting worse and it has been thx to *cough *cough the worst feature ever enhacements and agilaity. However their is nothing we can do about it as the months of posting something needing to be done about luck has been unheard or unread, and infact made worse (stun guns). So for the mean time im stuck with saying sorry when i get lucky and %$#$% off! when they say good game from a luky win.

P.S , if a dev for some reason reads this, LOWER LUCK FREQUENCY AND EFFECT! (it's really not that hard)

LOWER LUCK FREQUENCY AND EFFECT!

Of the critical to 33% ignore, instead of 75% ignore.
And max 10% of the times, instead of 13%.

Reduce the speed of rage gain, from st build, and support build.

A block should still inflict 50% damage.

Gama robot damage need to be scaled on the st stat progression, meaning when you have 80 technologies it should do 18-22 + 30
and instead of the +30 from focus, Make the gamma bot do 31 or 32 flat damage like a lv 31 or 32 weapon, and we are no longer all +5 focus build gamma bot.
The +31 or +32 damage would be reduced by level if you lower level than the robot, like for a primary weapon.

Oh and GG

Ok ppl start to act like im against "gg" , im not , the thing i want to say is stop saying "gg" if the battle is not a good game , When 3-4 crtis, 3-4 blocks happen its more like luck game not a good game.

@Polandor: Making blocks do 50% dmg and putting robot dmg based on str....you do see the problem here right ?

No not based on st, still based on tech.

But with the same stat progression has ST instead of the current one.

The damage raise too fast currently with the current stat progression on tech. & give good RES and bunker.

Almost all are +5 gamma bot since it give insane high damage both side, + high res, and high phy damage with bunker.

^yeh i do see the problem and it is this games luck! (aswell as many other things but thts a diffrent story), I agree with polander in that something needs to be done about block and robots , maybe not his idea exactly but something!

Wanna know a joke, being critted 4 times in a row while being blocked at the same time, sound unlikely ? well it's not but it should be!

ah right I see what you mean.

I dont like changing blocks though. I mean, if you block a sword with your shield you take no damage.
but if you deflect an arrow and it grazes you, you take damage. maybe they could give each block a
chance to be a parry instead, which only stops part of the damage, like you suggested

Pherhaps all block need is a decrease with frequency and a change of SHADOW ARTS. My idea for shadow arts is increase by .5% per level and it is bonus chance to block as well as not getting blocked. also make it so shadow arts dsnt add to the minumum block chance, thiss will mean if you have really high dex and ur agianst a BH ul get you less bloked attacks you deserve.

 I say gdf because gg means the whole game (including lag, bugs etc.) and gf means girlfriend. Gdf is perfect for good fight and I only say it when it's a fair battle without crit, block, or deflect. And sometimes when the opponent says it.

Take my current Merc Build for example:

I have 88 tech and +5 focus
Gamma robot
27-31 +30

Take the same +88 in st in give
20-24 + 31 (to +33 depending on the weapons)

So i suggest making the robot damage on the same scale has the ST, BUT using the tech stats.

My Robot damage would become (with the same 88 in tech)
20-24 + 30

a lot more balanced

And I suggest removing focus, and giving the robot 31 damage like a lv 31 weapon, and -1 damage per level less you are, no limit so a lv 1 can equip a robot, but the robot does +1 damage.
Robot damage
Lv Damage
1 +1
10 +10
20 +20
25 +26
28 +28
29 +29
30 +30
31-33 +31

My Robot damage would become (with the same 88 in tech)
20-24 + 31 (since I am level 33)

It would also help balance Robot at lower level.

 As a reminder, let's be sure to keep discussion here civil. It's gotten a bit better so far but if the thread devolves into flaming people for their opinions it will be locked.

Also, discussion of critical hit rates and blocking and the like should go to another thread. They may contribute to your position on the subject in this situation but this thread is not the place to discuss how they could be changed.

This is a pointless thread, People say gf, and gg to be nice. Although there are some who flame after they say gg, and gf.. Most just say it to be nice! I say weather I win by a lot, or lose badly.

 Yes guys TurkishIncubus is right stop say GG. You wait to losing opponent says GG your just piss them off. Fair match would be no robots just 1 on 1 match.

 If someone says "GG" after a battle they've won because they critted, deflected, or blocked, then that person is either a) naive or b) rude AND naive.

The only battles that deserve a "GG" are the ones without blocks, crits, or deflects.

I dont say good game if i suddenly die cause i just dont have the time or if they are annyoing. I say gg to all lower level players and any fight were its rely close i rely dont see a point of stoping i mean not everyone who plays epicduel uses the forums so word wont get out and its a choice to say gg or gf or bb just like i first said.

Well gg can get annoying if they got lucky and they didnt deserve a win.

But they are just trying to be nice here, i dont get how is gg wrong?

well you just Answer your own question. I have say gg after I lose 5 times ever. I like to see gg,gf,good game, good fight remove or allow us to ignore players in battles.

If you don't like saying GG or GF then don't, no one will care one way or another. You're free to not talk if you like, in some cases I recommend it.

If you don't like someone else saying it to you, that's too bad. Attempting to restrict another players chat is antisocial.
Anyone can say anything they want as long as it's not against the TOS/Rules. Even saying "GG NOT", "you really think so" or "lucky break for you" is allowed.
If you're so adamant about not seeing your opponent say GG after they whoop your behind then battle NPCs!

 @frog Saying good game is much better sportsmanship than ignoring someone or saying "lol you is teh newbz." Compare a fight to a children's baseball game for a minute. When you lose or win in that baseball game you usually go down a line, give a high five to everyone on the other team and say good game, regardless of whether the game was good or the other team just got lucky. Why does taking the baseball and team out and putting in 2 characters on an online game fighting each other any different? Is the fact that some of us aren't children anymore that makes it so different that we can't tell our opponent good game regardless of it was good or not?

Because this isn't a comparison, ND. The OP is stating an opinion that the term GG is over- and misused. Personally, if I win because I crit, I apologize. It WASN'T a good game. I was lucky. To some of us, luck is the antithesis of a good game.

I'd posit that it is the MOST competitive players among us who dislike the term GG when it's misused. In your anology, sure, maybe they say GG at the end, but you can't tell me the players don't walk away begrudging their loss because the ump made a bad call at the plate. They certainly don't feel like it was a good game, even though they may say it.

If I don't think it's a good game, why should I lie?

Dude, it's really annoying when you get critted a lot, say a protest, they are like, "Noob!" and then kill you. And "gg" is just showing sportsmanship. Good game. How can you be offended by that? You're a good player, Turkish. It's not like you're losing anytime soon. And I bet if they say "gg" once you win, I'm sure you'll like that, now won't you?
